In recent times, CP has been relatively bland with the motive power that is being used on trains but this was a major exception to the normality of the CP trains.

The Fascist commentator Ann Coulter 🇺🇸 once wrote a hate piece on America's "moral decline" using football ⚽ as her illustration and target of abuse, and somehow likened it with "trains and European socialism". 🚂🇪🇺 Cannae make it up.
Comes to mind now as the skyscraper centre image is emblazoned with the name of an egotistical twat some people worship (yes, 'worship' like a soulless wooden idol) with their vote next year. That name, for me anyway, represents real collective societal "moral decline" that suits an ingrained individualistic ideology which devalues the collective. Mottos like "Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité" quickly become a threat to such a mindset and raises a barrier to following the second commandment: Love Thy Neighbour. Perhaps it's why "social justice" and similar efforts are mocked by the far-right and self-righteous. I digress...

I'd intended to capture this at dawn or dusk on my last night/morning in Chicago but a very grumpy CTA worker barked at me, ordering me off the platform bridge: something or other about needing CTA's consent and not allowing tripods.
I wanted to get an image of the Elevated Trains because they were excellent - CTA is a great example of what could be possible for American public transport and should be the standard that all 'Muricans should aspire to.
Fine - so here's a handheld single frame daytime version with some fairly heavy editing.

Yes, this is me. I'm alive, I'm here. I had to come back and post for this exciting occasion. Any of my 2,000 Followers still around? lol. I know I haven't uploaded in like a year, but I've just completely forgotten about uploading. I actually have TONS of outside Lego shots, I just haven't had the motivation to upload, or even the correct mindset. I've still tried to be active on here checking out people's photos, but I haven't been uploading my own. Hasn't really been the best year for me, and it is such a weird time in my life. Kinda feel hopeless and I just don't care anymore, but enough of that.
A lot has changed with me these past couple years. My tastes and interests, and me as a person. One major thing is my stance on Star Wars, but that's for another time. I'll post another photo sometime soon explaining everything. But basically, I quit Star Wars. Ever since George Lucas left and Disney bought Star Wars, Lucasfilm has completely ruined it and destroyed the great franchise that it used to be. I know, right? Such a drastic change. Okay, that's enough for now, I need to save this for my rant photo.
ANYWAY! STAR WARS THE CLONE WARS IS COMING BACK FOR A FINAL SEASON AND I AM SO HAPPY! I guess I'm not completely done with Star Wars, not yet at least. Didn't think I'd ever be excited for something Star Wars related like this ever again. This means so much to me. This was my show, my childhood. The Clone Wars is my favorite SW era and the show is one of my favorite things to come outta the Star Wars Franchise. I can't wait for the final Season that we have all deserved! I kinda had a feeling it was gonna come back, because of the 10th Anniversary at SDCC and them mentioning there was gonna be a surprise, also the fact that Rebels ended. I knew one day they would bring it back. They had to finish the series, they just did. It needed to be done at some point. Also, to all the stupid people that kept saying it would never come back and were trashing all the #SaveTheCloneWars people, screw you. I'm going to try and make a return on here, I've been meaning to. Next will be my Star Wars rant photo (maybe in a week or so), then from there I'll upload some outside Lego shots. I probably will just forget about all my old haul photos, but maybe not. Maybe I'll upload them anyway, just because. Alright, see you guys later!
