Strengths (or the lack of it) • • According to Gallup’s research on millennials, they want their manager or boss to talk about their strengths compared to focusing on their weakness. • • And it’s difficult as most management policies and hand-me-down leadership preferences is weakness focused. They hardly talk about strengths! • • So ask yourself, when was the last time your manager or leader talked about your brilliance? And the second more important question, when was the last time you pointed out someone else’s brilliance? (I’m looking at the man in the mirror! I dressed up similar to how my mom used to dress, wearing a boat neck long sleeve and curling my hair for an "effortless" feel. I took this picture in my living room with a not-so-fabulous background to display how many people of this generation want to be able to work comfortably, whether it be working from home or working where you're able to dress how you want. I used artificial front lighting.
