[#CliftonStrengths] #StrengthsFinder #Leadership #Workshop #Program - Statistics - millennial turnover is costing in the US alone $30.5b • • Millennials millennials... why art thou hop? Whence doth thy soul merry rest? (Love lit) • • Millennials have gathering for themselves a reputation for job-hopping. Detached from their organizations, this generation - (1980 - 1996) - are like free-spirits that prance from one organization to the next. Far more compared with any generation before. • • Gallup estimates that millennial turnover costs the U.S. economy $30.5 billion annually. • • One of the reason? Strengths (or the lack of it) • • According to Gallup’s research on millennials, they want their manager or boss to talk about their strengths compared to focusing on their weakness. • • And it’s difficult as most management policies and hand-me-down leadership preferences is weakness focused. They hardly talk about strengths! • • So ask yourself, when was the last time your manager or leader talked about your brilliance? And the second more important question, when was the last time you pointed out someone else’s brilliance? (I’m looking at the man in the mirror! I’m asking if he’d change his ways! - MJ) • • #StrengthsFinderStats • • "Creating the most Advanced StrengthsFinder Leadership Workshop Program in the World" • • #GallupStrengthsFinder #StrengthsQuest #StrengthsSchool #Gallup #StrengthsFinderSG #HumanResource #SelfImprovement #SelfDevelopment #TeamBuilding #StrengthsCoach #Leadership #ProfessionalDevelopment #StrengthsFinderCoach #CoachJasonHo Jason Ho • South East Asia & Singapore's 1st StrengthsFinder Certified Coach • Strengths School™ Singapore ift.tt/2whMhJZ

a walk round Chipping Camden in the Cotswolds in the autumn

Both shields are surmounted (have above them) an Earl's coronet (a lower level crown)

The shield above the chipping has 3 red chevrons on a gold backing; the coat of arms of Gilbert de Clare, 5th Earl of Glocester & briefly Lord of the Campden manor in the 1200's (he was closely linked with the Magna Carta) You'll notice the French surname, remember that these were the descendents of knights that came over with William the Conqueror in 1066 & in thanks for fighting they got to throw out the old Lord & take over the area given them.

The shield on the right, above Campden has a white box with ermine marks & red cross hatching on gold, belongs to the Noel family who became Lords of the manor in the early 1600's.

The sword dubiously represents what was thought to be the first battle fought in the village (it was actually in Yorkshire, 200 mi away, in a village with a similar name, long since vanished).

The small shield on the post is that of maybe the most important village wool merchant, William Grevel late 1380's.

beside the right shield is a snail creeping up the inside of the frame. It is the trademark of Jeff Humpage, the wrought iron craftsman who made the sign.

It stands where an old pub sign used to stand for the old George & Dragon inn.

I dressed up similar to how my mom used to dress, wearing a boat neck long sleeve and curling my hair for an "effortless" feel. I took this picture in my living room with a not-so-fabulous background to display how many people of this generation want to be able to work comfortably, whether it be working from home or working where you're able to dress how you want. I used artificial front lighting.

Millennials in Massachusetts are already demonstrating their civic impact by working at the local, state, and federal levels to create change in their communities. The Institute brought young leaders together to discuss how their generation is defining civic engagement, the value and importance of public service, and what political activism means for up-and-coming thought leaders.
