Action and advocacy were the words of the day for all attendees including Deric Muhammad, Sasha Legette, Dorothy Cook, Congressman Al Green, Argentina James, Monica Hill, Letha Gilmore, Marcus Nash, Tamira Augustine, Krystal Lyons, Ron John, Tanika Keys and more.

On May 2nd, 2016 hundreds of millennials jointed together at the Institute to speak about the issues most important to them during this presidential election year. From their communities in Roxbury and Easton to the national stage, 18 to 35-year-olds participated in a poll to gauge their generation’s interactions with elected officials, participation in political campaigns, and civic engagement activity.
