A series documenting young adults in Preston who face stigma. This work was accompanied by transcribed interviews in the book Millennial Preston, and exhibited at Human Condition, a small exhibition I curated with a group of fellow UCLan Photography students.

On May 2nd, 2016 hundreds of millennials jointed together at the Institute to speak about the issues most important to them during this presidential election year. From their communities in Roxbury and Easton to the national stage, 18 to 35-year-olds participated in a poll to gauge their generation’s interactions with elected officials, participation in political campaigns, and civic engagement activity.

The Institute brought young leaders together to discuss how their generation is defining civic engagement, the value and importance of public service, and what political activism means for up-and-coming thought leaders.
