Millennial Arch, Napier, New Zealand
This is one of the first shots I took in 2013, the first dawn. The sculpture in this photo is the Millennial Arch by David Trubridge, which shows the location of the dawn on 1 Jan by aligning the disc on the arch with the rock in the foreground... Sadly the sun had other ideas and came up just to the left of the prescribed point.

Ο Θεός λέει:« ...«Και είπεν ο Θεός, Ας βλαστήση η γη χλωρόν χόρτον, χόρτον κάμνοντα σπόρον, και δένδρον κάρπιμον κάμνον καρπόν κατά το είδος αυτού, του οποίου το σπέρμα να ήναι εν αυτώ επί της γης. Και έγεινεν ούτω». Καθώς ο Θεός μιλούσε, όλα αυτά τα πράγματα άρχισαν να δημιουργούνται με τη σκέψη και μόνο του Θεού και σε μια στιγμή, μια ποικιλία από λεπτεπίλεπτες μικρές μορφές ζωής έβγαλαν τα τρεμάμενα κεφαλάκια τους από το χώμα και πριν ακόμα τινάξουν τη σκόνη από πάνω τους, έγνεφαν ενθουσιωδώς χαιρετώντας το ένα το άλλο, κουνώντας τα κεφάλια τους και χαμογελώντας στον κόσμο. Ευχαρίστησαν τον Δημιουργό για τη ζωή που τους δόθηκε από Εκείνον κι ανήγγειλαν στον κόσμο ότι αυτά είναι μέρος όλων των πραγμάτων κι ότι το καθένα χωριστά θα αφιερώσει τη ζωή του στο να αναδεικνύει την εξουσία του Δημιουργού. Καθώς ο Θεός εκστόμιζε τα λόγια Του, η γη έγινε πλούσια και πράσινη, όλων των ειδών τα βότανα που μπορούσε να απολαύσει ο άνθρωπος φύτρωσαν στο χώμα και τα βουνά και οι πεδιάδες γέμισαν με δέντρα και δάση… Αυτός ο άγονος κόσμος, όπου δεν υπήρχε ίχνος ζωής, καλύφθηκε τάχιστα με μια αφθονία από χορτάρια, βότανα και δέντρα και ξεχείλισε από πρασινάδα… Η ευωδία από το χόρτο και το άρωμα από το χώμα σκόρπισαν στον αέρα και μια ποικιλία φυτών άρχισε να αναπνέει μαζί με τον αέρα που κυκλοφορούσε κι άρχισε η διαδικασία της ανάπτυξης.... »

I'd say I don't conform to how a normal Millennial dresses. Many Millennials prefer to wear jeans and leggings all day except for hot summer days and special occasions. I'd see myself I'm more like kids that grew up in the 70s and 80s much prefer to be in a skirt or a dress and in the workplace no trousers for me skirts all the way! xx ❤️❤️

At the suggestion of @dollsahoy and @dolldirt my Romper wearing Deer guy now has a fidget spinner and avocado on toast since he’s pretty set on being homeless and unemployable as well as set on making baby boomers upset at him existing and not suffering quite as badly as he could be.
Both are made from polymer clay and I acknowledge my skills aren’t quite up to par but I like them lol.

Almighty God's Word "The Millennial Kingdom Has Arrived"
Almighty God says, "The arrival of the Millennial Kingdom on earth is the arrival of God’s words on earth. New Jerusalem’s descent from heaven is the arrival of God’s words to live among man, to accompany man’s every action, and all his inmost thoughts. This is also the fact that God will accomplish, and the wonderful scene of the Millennial Kingdom. This is the plan set by God: His words will appear on earth for a thousand years, and they will manifest all of His deeds, and complete all of His work on earth, after which this stage of mankind shall come to an end."
It's all about ADVENTURE when I think about this generation. Taking an adventurous risk with art,photography,style etc...
Everyone participates in their own adventurous way which makes observing this poetic millennial generation a lot more entertaining.

Highlights here include a fine Norman font, a striking Millennium window and a few roof carvings (for those with a longer lens).

To kick off our prep work for the Global Youth Summit, the ITU hosted special one-day MILLENNIALS JAM WORKSHOP at its ICT Discover Center, with an exclusive and select group of 40 entrepreneurial young people. The objective of this unique one-day event is to crowd-source a more detailed framework for the Summit where approximately 25,000 young people will input their ideas for the post-2015 global development agenda.
