The shot was taken during my break yesterday.St Paul's Chapel is in the center and the Millennium Hotel is the structure with the reflection.
The Uros descend from a millennial town that, according to legends, are "pukinas" who speak Uro or Pukina and that believe they are the owners of the lake and water. In particolare in località Santu Baltòlu di Karana, presso la chiesetta di campagna dedicata a San Bartolomeo, è situato il più vecchio di questi olivastri, che dai luresi viene confidenzialmente e rispettosamente chiamato S'ozzastru. This trio of Millennial friends are having a nice, warm get-together over coffee and cigarettes at a Los Angeles coffee house. Not a human voice could be heard. The person in the foreground (and several others) appear to be some sort of androids with the electricity emerging from their skulls manifesting as colored lights. It looks good! What is odd is that they would get together and then start using their smart phones to.....do what? Message other people? Watch a baseball game?
This is odd and rude behavior where I come from. To me, this is no different than in 1973 getting together with a couple of friends after work and then everyone pulls out a paperback book and starts reading it or starts writing a letter to someone. Same thing. Exactly. What has changed is what is considered to be polite and thoughtful behavior as well as perhaps the degree of interest people actually have about their friends' lives.

I just happened to come across this wedding party in London over the weekend and thought it made for a nice photo.
It's on the Millennium Bridge looking north from the Tate Modern to St Paul's Cathedral which is vaguely visible in the mist.
The Millennium Falcon made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.

When millennials killed the superhero industry - kinda literally - Superman must reevaluate his place in society. That's as much of his origin as I'm willing to read right now, because I haven't read Kingdom Come and surprisingly no one's quite spoiled it yet! I do know that his Earth gets destroyed, and he winds up on Earth-1 right before Earth-1's Magog takes the stage - Magog being the tipping point of homicidal "heroes" on his Earth - and becomes a member of the JSA!
This is the best you can really do for a dark blue Superman right now - something I'd like to see changed, but probably won't outside of an actual Kingdom Come Superman minifig.

-Vajdahunyad Castle is a castle in the City Park of Budapest (Varosliget). It was built in 1896 as part of the Millennial Exhibition which celebrated the 1,000 years of Hungary since the Hungarian Conquest of the Carpathian Basin in 895. The castle was designed by Ignác Alpár to feature copies of several landmark buildings from different parts the Kingdom of Hungary, especially the Hunyad Castle in Transylvania (now in Romania). As the castle contains parts of buildings from various time periods, it displays different architectural styles: Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque. Originally, it was made from cardboard and wood, but it became so popular that it was rebuilt from stone and brick between 1904 and 1908. Today, it houses the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture, the biggest agricultural museum in Europe.

Pseudo-writing and symbolic language
The pseudo-writing and patterns are usually symbolic: they combine lines and dots, abstract figures, and geometric (or stylized) forms. They do not adhere to a specific language; they are personal creations of each Rovingian monk, reflecting their experience and spiritual journey.
Craft Origins and References
In most cases, these motifs are inspired by ancient patterns and ancient craft traditions, still preserved today by various peoples. They appear in:
- Tapestries and fabrics produced on ancient looms;
- Embroidery and linen or wool pieces;
- Paintings on wood and ancient murals;
- Metalwork and jewelry
Contemplation, collection, and synthesis
These elements are born from deep contemplation, but also from an accumulated heritage: traditions and records collected in different cultures, temples, and ruins. On pilgrimages, field research, and spiritual quests, nomadic monks observe, adapt, and synthesize motifs that become part of their ritual and artistic repertoire.
Rovingian Nomadism
Rovingian nomadism is not just a personal spiritual quest: it is also a quest for our collective cultural and ritualistic legacy, as a conscious and creative humanity.
In this journey, the monk acts as a "curator of the soul": not only creating, but preserving and reorganizing the aesthetic memory of humanity through personal synthesis.
What makes these patterns unique?
Their singular character is based on the balance between three pillars:
- Collective heritage: the use of ancient techniques (looms, embroidery, murals) that connects the work to a vast temporal lineage.
- Pseudo-writing: strokes and dots that suggest a language, but communicate beyond words—a "calligraphy of the spirit" that is felt, rather than read.
- Nomadic synthesis: each monk functions as a living filter; they do not copy ruins or fabrics—they metabolize them through contemplation to create something new.
Thus, it is an art that transforms craftsmanship into ritual—and observation into prayer.
Many Rovingian monks produce objects and artistic pieces based on these concepts, which is also a form of income.

With the recent drop of Got7's album and the rapid success of my other fave BTS, I decided I wanted to do a girl group album "photo shoot" series. I love how its turning out and its really getting me back into the swing of things. And I also hope Monso keeps making Korean inspired hair because I LOVE THEM ALL! <3

This series was inspired by alot of things, Girls Generation (name), TWICE (number of girls and about half of the memebers lol) Got7's Jackson Wang, (Jaclyn, who was featured in a past post) Red Velvet, SISTAR and BTS. I hope you guys enjoy this, as much as I have making this. :D
