Overview of what is to be my first MOC, a system-ish scale Millennium Falcon.

Hi everyone! Recently I decided my old Millennium Falcon isn't as screen-accurate as I would like, and because I've rejected the TFA and Solo falcons for the same reasons I decided to set out and try to create my own. Usually I give up on these things after a week or two, but I find that I keep coming back to this and I decided it might well be fun to share it with the community.

I'm not sure if I've made this part overcomplicated with regards to the technic sideways spine. I'm thinking about reducing it heavily but I would like to hear what you have to say about it!

Nach dem "Käpt'n Sharky" uns monatelang immer wieder gesagt hat, dass er sich den Lego Star Wars "Millenium Falcon" zu Weihnachten wünscht, wurde sein grosser Wunsch gestern erfüllt.

Heute wurde natürlich den ganzen Tag gebaut, das Ding ist eine ingenieurmässige Meisterleistung!!!

Als das Raumschiff fertig zusammengesetzt war, wurde kurz damit gespielt und dann vom "Käpt'n" mindestens eine Stunde lang ausgiebig fotografiert ;-) Die Fotos folgen bestimmt bald.

Er ist sich übrigens am überlegen, sich auf Flickr in "der kleine Jedi" umzutaufen ;-)

This was taken at the Star Wars exhibit in Seattle, WA at the Seattle Pacific Science Center.

The smuggling compartment hides the LED controller. Wire tiedowns are used to keep the LED strip in place. The false panel can be removed to fix any issues with the controller.
