Healan Mill is located in Lula, GA near the Hall/Habersham County line. The mill is fenced off, and there are hopes that it will soon be restored.

Salt's Mill (or Salts Mill) is an art gallery, shopping and restaurant complex located in Saltaire, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. It is inside a former mill, built by Sir Titus Salt. The 1853 gallery takes its name from the date of the building in which it is housed. Quarry Bank Mill (also known as Styal Mill) in Styal, Cheshire, England, is one of the best preserved textile factories of the Industrial Revolution. Built in 1784, the cotton mill is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. Quarry Bank Mill was established by Samuel Greg, and was notable for innovations both in machinery and also in its approach to labour relations, the latter largely as a result of the work of Greg's wife, Hannah Lightbody. The family took a somewhat paternalistic attitude toward the workers, providing medical care for all and limited education to the children, but all laboured roughly 72 hours per week until 1847 when a new law shortened the hours

Low Mill in the distance. Low Mill is reputed to be one of England's oldest cotton mills. The water flowing from the bank is the millrace, the water that flows past the old oak tree in Caton
This old Mill that was used to make animal food is being demolished and making a way to offices and a hotel.

Lots of wildlife here, right in the middle of suburbia; there is even a duck ramp to get from the outlet stream up into the pond! Right next to this was a mamma duck with some youngsters, and down the path another duck with a pile of ducklings resting on the sand. Also seen were turtles and I hear rumor of big frogs. Of course the usual assortment of other waterfowl was present: ducks, canadian geese, swans. Squirrels too....
Travel-wise, made is safely to the USA without incident. Relaxing and enjoying visiting with the family back home.

Steele's Tavern, Virginia
Cyrus McCormick was born here and in 1831 developed the first reaper here. The home in the background was constructed in 1822. The farm is listed on the NRHP.
Caerlee Mill, was built by Alexander Brodie in 1778, it was the first water powered textile mill to be built in the Borders and the first woolen mill of the Industrial Revolution in Scotland
Ballyduggan Mill is one of the most striking buildings in my area. It is a former flour mill and is now a restaurant and has overnight accomodation.
Dalton Mills is a former textile mill, located by the side of the River Worth, on Dalton Lane in Keighley, near Bradford. The majestic mill, which has been a landmark of the town for more than 140 years, was acquired by Magna Holdings Ltd in 2004. It is now having a multi-million pound make-over to restore it to it’s former glory.
