Ammoudi is a wonderful sandy beach 38 kilometers far from Rethymnon at the South, 6-7 kilometers at the East of Plakias and some 10 minutes walking from the beach of Damnoni, well protected and not affected by the winds. The beach is very popular to nudists.

The second week of our Greek adventure. A few days in the Pindos mountains, taking in Smolikas (Greece's second highest mountain), Timfi and Gramos. We also visited a couple of dragon lakes and the Zagori villages and bridges.

Papingo actually consists of two villages: Megalo Papingo and Mikro Papingo.

The area and the neighbouring Vikos Gorge, the largest canyon in Greece and in all of Europe, attracts many hikers from around the world. The village of Papingo proper is surrounded by snowcapped mountains in winter, and also has provisions for lodging as well as tavernas serving up traditional Greek food, coffee, and spirits.

Probable descendiente del microraptor.

Microraptor (gr.

Probable descendant of Microraptor.

Microraptor (Greek, mikros: "small"; Latin, raptor: "one who seizes") is a genus of small, four-winged dromaeosaurid dinosaurs. About two dozen well-preserved fossil specimens have been recovered from Liaoning, China. They date from the early Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation (Aptian stage), 120 million years ago.
