A hired-in Mikro Coaches Volvo B7TL pictured at work on the Crewe area college contract in lieu of the more regular Stanways Olympian.
This carries Plaxton President bodywork and ran for several London operators before moving north to Coast & Country in Whitby whose yellow livery it still carries.
Volvo / President LR52 BNF en-route to Crewe with a Sandbach schools working. Previously at GSAL in Leeds, it was new to Metroline.
A recent arrival at Mikro Coaches is former National Express Coventry Transbus Trident BJ03 EVB which was caught in action at Wheelock Heath between Sandbach and its home town of Crewe.
G532LWU was a Volvo B10M / Plaxton Paramount 3500 C48F new to Wallace Arnold. It passed to Midland Red South for use on National Express duties and was reseated for the task. It later joined Western and was caught leaving Ayr on service 246 bound for Dumfries. On disposal it went to Mikro Coaches of Crewe for further service.
The second week of our Greek adventure. A few days in the Pindos mountains, taking in Smolikas (Greece's second highest mountain), Timfi and Gramos. We also visited a couple of dragon lakes and the Zagori villages and bridges.
This shot was taken near the Shrine of Evangelistria, near Mikro Papigo, which is dedicated to Mary.
Nearly nine years after Fishwick's demise their livery is still seen on Trident LR52 KXV pictured here with a Sandbach school working.
Originally new as Metroline TP400, this also had a spell with Tyrers before arriving here.
Mikro Optare MetroCity YJ16 DYY runs into Nantwich to complete a rural 39 journey from Crewe.
This carries the livery of NAT in South Wales from where it was acquired in Spring 2024
form 5 cm square of thin kraft paper, final size around 1.6 cm, 3 layers, distinctive strength of my eyes was not sufficient for the last layer, I think some magnifying glass would be helpful :)
