I took the kids on a hike in Point Lobos this weekend. And the whale migration was awesome. We saw at least a dozen of these big guys go cruising by.

Im Interkulturellen Haus fand am 13. Mai 2014 das erste Treffen meiner Frühstücksreihe "Auf ein Wort ..." .

The wildebeest have started their long trek from the Serengeti they are known for their annual migration to new pastures. Wildebeest usually begin their migration in the months of May or June when drought forces them to go on the move. However, if it is a particularly dry year, they may begin their migration earlier, this year they are slightly early and already they have started massing in the Mara, the migration will continue through Aug until September. They follow the rain but so do the predators!!!
