NPWS, the Pacific Whale Foundation supported by NSW Water Police and Department of Sustainability and Environment Victoria as a support agency monitor a Humpback calf entagled in netting. The calf was initially spotted just south of Eden on Oct 14 heading south accompanied by its mother.

Finally finished this one up. It still needs blocking, but I'm calling it done for now. I left off the geese even though they were why I bought this kit, I could still add them if I change my mind about that.

Number 4 in the series. I gave this image a more descriptive title because for me it represented the different weather challenges that cranes face on the long migration. This image of the cranes was created with three background layers. If you are a person who doesn't enjoy post-processing, maybe this complexity isn't for you. I found that if you have several texture backgrounds one approach is to open them all simultaneously. Then the different textures can be easily manipulated to create the mix which appeals to you.

Im Interkulturellen Haus fand am 13. Mai 2014 das erste Treffen meiner Frühstücksreihe "Auf ein Wort ..." . Zum Thema Migration & Vielfalt kamen Akteurinnen und Akteure des Bezirks zusammen, um sich in gemütlicher Atmosphäre auszutauschen und wichtige Anliegen an die Politik zur Sprache zu bringen. Hinter all diese Vereinen und Verbänden stehen Menschen, die mit viel Herzblut und Engagement sehr wertvolle und beispielgebende Arbeit im Bezirk leisten. Ihnen allen sei an dieser Stelle nochmals herzlich gedankt!
