Doyle et al. have designed a new technique for micropatterning proteins onto coverslips to determine how topography dictates migration. In doing so they found that migration along a straight line is very similar to 3D migration. (JCB 184(4) TOC1)

So when we were building wetlands at Logan Lake we saw a massive flock of Sand Hill Cranes fly by! It was amazing to see and hear.
In Ecuador and different countries of Latin America, we see some Venezuelan in the streets with children and dogs, asking for food or money. For this reason, on these pictures I want to show a little of this reality that we see day by day on the streets.

NPWS, the Pacific Whale Foundation supported by NSW Police monitor a Humpback calf entagled in netting. The calf was initially spotted just south of Eden on Oct 14 heading south accompanied by its mother.

Still no clue what sort of little birds these all are... migratory yellow birds... The little masked guy had a girlfriend. They're really fast and small and frustratingly hard to nail down.
