He def is not all fug. but all his bling was blinging...that's a no no, and, idk if it was a mistake on his clothes, or the skin, but you can just see there is a line at his midsection where the av waist seam is. He was fully rezzed, so it's not from a weird half rezzed texture like some textures seem to do.
And, more of a pet peeve. His name had been changed to 'Da Boss'. there was a bit more too it, but the boss part stood out for me. Idk, the names people are choosing to use with the new name change feature *shakes head*. What's wrong with an actual name? lol

Aspire is the name of this statue, located Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC.
This is a great example of how I use speedlights in the field (and not just for portraiture). Notice the shadow across the face and you can get a good idea of the direction of the sun. That angle put the inside of the statue's wing and midsection in complete shadow. But two flashes did a great job at bringing out the detail here.

We call 'em "Oreo Cows"...! It's niether black nor white... it's both!
"Belted Galloways, sometimes called “Belties,” or “Oreo Cows,” originated in Galloway in the west side of southern Scotland. The breed is easily identifiable by its long hair and the white belt encircling its midsection. The origin of this white belt is unknown, but may have come from cross-breeding native black Galloway cattle with Dutch Belted cattle, or Lakenvelder.
The Belted Galloway is hardy, grazing on areas that other cattle would shun. This cow breed is rugged and well-adapted to the cold, growing a shaggy coat in the winter and shedding it in the summer. Because of this, it can tolerate warm climates better than most other cold-adapted cattle.
Despite its hardiness, the Belted Galloway was on the watchlist of the UK Rare Breeds Survival Trust until 2007 due to a foot and mouth crisis in the early 2000s. Today it is listed as a “recovering” breed with the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, which means that there are more than 2,500 annual registrations in the United States and a global population that exceeds 10,000.
The cattle are often purchased as “pasture ornaments” due to their striking appearance."

A large 13th Century gothic castle, first mentioned in 1350, which was destroyed in Bohemian-Hungarian wars in the 15th Century. It was a quite large castle complex with triple configuration - a large and long bailey, three main trechnes, a midsection and a separate core. The disposition is still well visible, a path follows the first trench around the bailey, through the second and third trench up to the core. Two drawbridges isolated the core, which was otherwise surrounded by inaccessible steep rocks. It´s well walkable and very popular by tourists.

This tram from the Spanish company Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarilles arrived from the test track in Germany on Sunday 25th April 2010 in three sections on three very long loaders, plus a fourth trailer with the parts for the long downloading ramp. They parked in Regent Road until around 10pm, when they moved into position in Princes Street for the tram to be put on the rails of the Princes Street tram station just west of the Mound.
This front section has just been unloaded onto the rails. It doesn't have enough wheels of its own to roll independently, so for unloading it had a small auxiliary pair of wheels bolted to the back. The back of the tram must now be jacked to the right height for mating with the next section and have the auxiliary wheels removed.
The front of the tram on its trailer can be seen here. The entire unloading ramp can be seen here. The front descending the ramp can be seen here. The removal of the auxiliary wheels from the back can be seen here. The tram against a background of castle and moon can be seen here.

The radio operator was isolated from the rest of the crew in the midsection of the bomber. He had a restricted view and usually had to sit at his receiver and sweat out the battle that raged outside. Yet he was a key member of the team, handling the communications equipment which frequently proved a life saver for the crew.
This was the best I could get with this mating pair. As I waded into the water they flew off. As you can see the female is the one with the striped wing markings. The male grasps the female's head with his tail. She then reaches up to recieve sperm from a secondary sexual organ located in the midsection.
This past Thursday, October 3, 2013, there were Woolly Bear caterpillars, everywhere, crossing the roadways! Sadly, I was on schedule & didn't manage a photo of any of them. Today (October 8, 2013), this one came to visit my front walk in Columbia County, New York, USA. Hope you find a nice place to hibernate! According to the following webpage, a broad midsection predicts a mild winter. I can go for that!
The 12-story Beaux-Arts cooperative-apartment building at 364 - 366 Broadway was completed in 1907. Designed by Frederick C. Browne as an office building, it is also known as the Broadway Textile Building. It is faced in brick and limestone with terra-cotta trim. Each facade is divided into three parts — a base, a midsection, and a top. The 2-story terra-cotta top section has double-height paired and fluted pilasters flanking window openings. On the 3-bay Broadway facade, seven of the eight floors of the midsection feature vermiculated stone banding. The lowest story of this section is faced in smooth limestone and is topped by a cornice with a Greek key frieze. Window openings of alternate stories have scroll keystones with carved faces.
The 2-story base of the building has double-height banded and fluted end piers. A stone frieze which separates the 1st and 2nd floors has applied letters reading "Bernard Semel, Inc.," advertising the dry goods firm which once occupied the building. Between the end piers, storefront bays are divided at the first story by painted Ionic columns; historic transoms remain. The northernmost ground-story bay has been filled with stainless steel and a pair of metal and glass doors. Bays at the 2nd floor are divided by elaborate piers with garlands and female heads and have paired windows.
The 3-bay-wide end portions of the Franklin Street facade follow the same overall design and articulation of detail as the Broadway facade. The center section of the Franklin Street facade is five bays wide and is executed more simply with brick banding. The five center windows of the 11th floor have protruding metal oriels and are flanked by double-height paired columns. The three bays at each end of the base of the Franklin Street facade follow the Broadway design, as well. Banded stone pilasters flank the five center bays. Spandrels between the 1st and 2nd floors have carved rosettes and foliate detailing. Most ground-floor bays are filled with show windows with transoms.

Chuckwallas are large lizards found primarily in arid regions of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Some are found on coastal islands. There are five species of chuckwallas, all within the genus Sauromalus; they are part of the iguanid family, Iguanidae.
Chuckwallas are a stocky wide-bodied lizard with a flattened midsection and prominent belly. Their tails are thick, tapering to a blunt tip. Loose folds of skin characterize the neck and sides of the body, which is covered in small, coarsely granular scales. The common chuckwalla (Sauromalus ater) measures 15 3/4 inches.
The genus Sauromalus has a wide distribution in biomes of the Sonoran and Mojave Deserts. The common chuckwalla (Sauromalus ater) is the species with the greatest range, found from southern California east to southern Nevada and Utah, western Arizona and south to Baja California and northwestern Mexico. The peninsular chuckwalla (Sauromalus australis) is found on the eastern portion of the southern half of the Baja California peninsula.
Chuckwallas prefer lava flows and rocky areas. These areas are typically vegetated by creosote bush and other such drought-tolerant scrub. The lizards may be found at elevations of up to 4,500 feet (1,370 m).
