Finding the Sleepy Wizard proved to be an easy task. After combing a couple of streets we found him sleeping under a stone edifice basking in the light of a full moon. We gave him a shake, he grunted, we gave him a second shake, he groaned, on the third shake he squinted at us and asked why we dared to wake him. When he heard we were seeking the Sacred Book of Adventures, he told us it could be found at the Wizard's library. With that, his eyes snapped shut and he was once again off in dreamland.

Corporal Ellis Graye, a starchy, regimented soldier in immaculate pressed khakis and spit-shined shoes stands stiff as a rifle beside his blonde date Lola Penumbra on a Somewhereville street. Somewhereville musician Rowan Latch and past recipient of the raven feather seen sitting in his usual city enclave listening to the sounds of silence. Rowan exists in the void between noise and noiselessness. In the bars of Somewhereville, there’s a rumor that Latch once played in outlaw country bands along the coast, but walked away after a silence on stage struck him harder than any applause. Now, he creates in the margins, where sound and absence meet. The problem is, no one can hear his works. He is heavily inspired by John Cage's 4′33,″ where the ensemble is instructed to remain silent for the duration of the piece allowing only for the ambient noise in the room.

Those who have received the raven's feather wander the streets of Somewhereville at night, seeking other seers of the truth but never making direct contact. During the day, the truth of the feather retreats to the quieter corners of the mind and the feather recipients function as normal members of the the community, but at night they begin to stir again. The night wanderers are drawn to the Everstill Antique shop where legend has it, that the complete chronicles of the truth are housed in artifacts that came from the mysterious ship that passes once a year in the night. It is interesting to note that while the shop is always ablaze in lights, no one has ever found the shop to be open.

Our intentions must have been good because we quickly found ourselves on the other side of the waterfall. Before us lay a magical city surrounded by the sight and sounds of cascading water. To our surprise there were a few people in the streets. They looked as surprised to see us as we were to see them. They were wary as they had not seen anyone from outside of the city for over a hundred years. We were soon to learn that this was not a pretty story.
