Akai MPK 88 I picked up at Guitar Center. Still can't get Pro Tools to work with iLok. What a pain. I love the expandability of the sounds you can use on this. Doesn't come with any inside. It's just a controller. Keys are weighted but loud. They don't record though. I wanted a weighted full keyboard. not sure if this is the answer though. Once I get the sounds and speakers for it, we shall see. It plays nice. Getting used to the weighted action of it. I like a real piano weight better, but this is pretty darned close. I have been trying out different demos for it like Pianotek 4, which is quite nice. Of course I could use Garage Band, but I want better sounds. Still, it's pretty cool that I can plug and play with no issues. Can't say that about Pro Tools. I may try Logic, Reaper or Abelton at some point. I would prefer to use the industry standard. Maybe it's too much to ask. LOL! Anyone have one of these boards? Anyone know of the best way to learn how to map it and all?

Possible to change LED brightness.
Put a Teensy 3.2 inside a Boss Volume pedal to make a midi controller out of it. Connect the A0 on the teensy across one of the volume potentiometers and use the MIDI sketch included with the Teensy. You have to reverse the mapping to get the expected behavior. Also, some analog smoothing gets the jitter out of the MIDI data stream.
