Die Oberfläche einer "alten" Münze bei 25facher Vergrößerung. Es handelt sich um eine 10-Kč-Münze (Tschechische Kronen) mit dem Prägejahr 2009, die aus unbekannten Gründen für eine unbekannte Zeit auf einem unbefestigtem Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Nordküste der Insel Rügen verbrachte, bevor ich sie im Oktober 2024 gefunden habe. Die Wetterbedingungen wie Wind und Regen haben wahrscheinlich ebenso zum Zustand der fortgeschrittenen Alterung beigetragen wie das gelegentliche Überfahrenwerden durch Autos. Viele Details wie das hier erkennbare Währungssymbol und das Prägejahr auf der Rückseite waren nur unter dem Mikroskop sicher erkennbar.
The surface of an "old" coin at 25x magnification. It is a 10 Kč coin (Czech koruna) minted in 2009, which for unknown reasons spent an unknown amount of time on an unmade parking ground in close proximity to the Northern coast of the Isle of Rügen, Germany, before I found it in October 2024. The weather conditions like wind and rain likely contributed to the condition of advanced aging as being occasionally overrun by a car. Many details like the currency symbol shown here or the minting year were only clearly visible under the microscope.
