First commercial high school experiment on U.S. National Lab on Space Station.
This is an actual photo image taken by a small digital camera in the VCS 2010-11 NanoLab project aboard the ISS.
The image is of VCS plant incubation chamber. The similar images on the left and right are the side views of these plant chambers provided by two different angled mirrors to the left and right sides of the plant chambers.
The plants that were being grown included Marigolds and Wisconsin Fast Plants
Taken with a Microscope and attached DSLR camera... I made them into HDR's but otherwise did not feel like editing them. Sorry.
I got my hands on an Olympus TG-3, a really good point & shoot camera. It has a great ultra macro, or microscope mode. This is a close up of an anemone, taken with this mode, and ambient light.

We had to raise the head of the microscope to fit in this large specimen, but it was worth it. You can see what' left of the flower at the end of this large fruit.

De la taille d'un petit protozoaire, les gastrotriches comme les rotifères, n'en sont pas moins des animaux pluricellulaire. Recouverts d'une cuticule ciliée, ils appartiennent à l'ensemble des cuticulates qui comprennent entre autre, les tardigrades et le grand groupe des arthropodes. Chaetonotus mesure environ 100 microns et présente des cils ventraux qui servent à la locomotion. Le dos est couvert d'écailles et d'épines 4 fois plus grandes dans la moitié postérieure. L'extrémité postérieure est fourchue. Le tube digestif montre antérieurement un pharynx musculeux dont on perçoit les contractions rapides sous forme d'un "éclair" blanc extrêmement fugace. La bouche, sous forme d'un orifice circulaire, reste ouverte à l'avant de l'animal.
