The PmodJSTK is a 2-axis joystick module with three user push buttons. The onboard Atmel® ATtiny24 Microcontroller reports to the system board over SPI the relative joystick position and the current status of the buttons.
The IR Range Sensor is a great way to add range detection to robotic projects that use Cerebotâ„¢ boards. The sensor detects reflective objects 10 to 80 cm away.
The sensor connects to the ADC found on all Cerebot boards. The cable maps the output pins to a 3-pin connector. The yellow wire is for the analog output signal. The pin should be connected to the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) on your microcontroller. The red wire is the Vcc power supply to the sensor and is diode-protected against reverse polarization. The black wire should be connected to the ground of the ADC.

a kit I bought a few years ago. I soldered the header pins to the top side of the board rather than the bottom. Ah well.

The CNC router is a large, horizontal milling machine that can cut many types of materials, including plastics, Delrin and other non-ferrous materials. This particular machine handles a full sheet of 4’ x 8’ material and uses a 10-tool changer to pick the right cutter for the job. The primary use of this machine is to build our Parallax DIY solar panel products.

Turns out, not many places sell 72-pin SIMM sockets anymore. Best price, info and terms I found were at amigakit.eu.
The DS2251T is one of Maxim's strange secure/soft microcontroller modules. It has a DS5001FP "super 8051" mcu, RTC, and SRAM on a SIMM ff module. RTC and (nv)SRAM are battery backed. The program is also stored in nvram.
this is a closer view of the microcontroller inside of the functional prototype of the Pants Interface wireless button controller! This piece is made up of two momentary switches, (constructed from scratch out of fabric) and a microcontroller. The microcontroller is a jeenode, which has an integrated HopeRF wireless radio. I've also used his sweet little power board that lets it run from a single AA battery.

The DP32 takes advantage of the powerful PIC32MX250F128B microcontroller. This microcontroller features a 32-bit MIPS processor core running at 40 MHz, 128K of flash program memory, and 32K of SRAM data memory. It is suitable for building projects directly on the board utilizing the provided prototyping area, but it can also be used as a device programmer to program the microcontrollers for inclusion in custom built projects.

THe laser 'gun' is made by using a microcontroller to modulate the laser beam, which is then turned on by a switch, (a trigger) which when pressed, sends out a modulated light beam for fifty milliseconds and after that, pauses for 200 milliseconds thus, only allowing firing of the gun approximately five times a second. The beam is modulated at 20 khz and the demodulation sampling techniques allows the intensity of modulated light to be registered 40 times per second.
