The cable we use to control doors and appliances remotely in our DIY house. The EIB (European Installation Bus) system is a building management system with a control bus system. With an EIB, you can measure, regulate, switch, control, signal and monitor your house. All devices connected with this mutual bus line--including switches, sensors, actuators, displays and control units--can exchange information via the EIB line.
Web interface served from the demo board with the latest version of the application built and flashed to it.
chipKIT Wi-FIRE: WiFi Enabled PIC32MZ Microcontroller Board
Building on the previous successes with the chipKIT WF32, the Wi-FIRE uses the same 43 available I/O pins, 12 analog inputs, 3.3 operating voltage, 4 user LEDs, potentiometer, buttons, uses MRF24 on-board wireless module, microSD Card, dedicated SPI Signals and high efficiency switching 3.3V switching power supply for low-power operation.
The Wi-FIRE is significantly faster than its WF32 counterpart, with 200 MHz operation speed, 2MB of Flash, 512kB RAM, High-Speed USB and a 50MHz SPI. The PIC32MZ core includes the MIPS M5150 CPU Core from Imagination Technologies. The M5150 is a highly efficient, compact core that is optimized for cloud-connected based projects, using Imagination Technologies' FlowCloud software.

The Arduino microcontroller board is wired up to a Nokia 1202 LCD via a CD4050 buffer chip. The bit-maps of the cells in the game take up nearly all the RAM on the AVR microcontroller chip. New generations are displayed at a rate of about ten per second. Screen resolution is 96x68 pixels.
The CNC router is a large, horizontal milling machine that can cut many types of materials, including plastics, Delrin and other non-ferrous materials. This particular machine handles a full sheet of 4’ x 8’ material and uses a 10-tool changer to pick the right cutter for the job. The primary use of this machine is to build our Parallax DIY solar panel products.
