My continously variable, programable, 16x8 bank midi knob box. Originally built and designed in 2002, Somehow, I never gotten around to posting pictures until now.
The rather old 330Ω resistors are just a bit too big to put side-by-side on 0.1inch prototyping board. So, I've staggered them. A DIL resistor array would have been neater, if I'd had one available.
My first robot with sensors of photoresistors.it works perfect.

When the Basic Stamp II microcontroller board is cabled to a PC running the Basic Stamp Editor program, my control program displays this terminal output on the screen after each press of the start button. It displays the control codes sent to the Firecracker transmitter, the DIP switch settings, and the resulting valve times used to deliver the drops.
Prototype. It's working with red pointer. Switching frequency depends of position of POTs.
Maximum - 5KHz.

chipKIT uC32: Basic Microcontroller Board with Uno R3 Headers
The uC32 features a USB serial port interface for connection to the IDE and can be powered via USB or an external power supply. The board takes advantage of the powerful PIC32MX340F512 microcontroller, which features a 32-bit MIPS processor core running at 80 MHz, 512K of Flash program memory, and 32K of SRAM data memory.
The uC32 is easy to use and suitable for both beginners and advanced users experimenting with electronics and embedded control systems. It provides 42 I/O pins that support a number of peripheral functions, such as UART, SPI, I2C ports, and pulse-width modulated outputs. chipKIT WiFi Shield: Add-on Board
The chipKIT WiFi Shield provides chipKIT microcontroller boards the ability to connect to and communicate with IEEE 802.11 compatible wireless networks. The WiFi Shield also provides a microSD card connector for use with microSD flash memory cards. The chipKIT MPIDE SD library can be used to read/write files stored on the microSD card.
Just a quick shot so I don't forget how to use my camera.
This little dingbat connects to a breadboarded microcontroller through its nifty colorful wires. The pins are for connecting a cable from the AVR Dragon programmer/debugger. I designed the color code and built this my own self!
To the unaided eye, this little artifact looks fairly tidy. Under the x-treme closeup, grungy. That's what cameras do when they can't meaningfully add 10 pounds!

About the acronyms: AVR is a line of chips made by Atmel. They're all coy about what AVR stands for, claiming it isn't an acronym and even that it doesn't mean anything at all. MCU is MicroController Unit and ISP is In-System Programming (I've also seen it meaning In-circuit Serial Programming). Just so's you know.

I built a robot from a Tamiya gearbox and tractor chassis, with an Arduino microcontroller and an h-bridge to control the motors. There's a PING ultrasonic distance sensor on the top.
The software is simple -- turn until you find some open space and then go forward until you get within 6 inches of an object. Lather, rinse, repeat. The robot finds its way all over the house with this simple code.
The cat is obsessed with it and will follow it for hours. Sometimes it will get stuck in a corner for a long time and the cat just sits there and watches.
