Il “Microchip Temporale Club Tour” dei Subsonica arriva all’Alcatraz di Milano martedì 12 e mercoledì 13 aprile 2022. Il tour porta sul palco i brani del disco “Microchip Temporale”, uscito a novembre 2019, una rielaborazione di “Microchip Emozionale”.
L’album è rivisitato e arricchito dalla creatività e dalle parole di 14 tra i più significativi protagonisti della scena attuale: Achille Lauro, Coez, Coma Cose & Mamakass, Cosmo, Elisa, Ensi, Fast Animals and Slow Kids, Gemitaiz, Motta, M¥SS KETA, Nitro, Lo Stato Sociale e Willie Peyote. Ensi sarà ospite fisso del tour, mentre molti altri degli artisti che hanno collaborato al disco saranno presenti su alcune delle prossime date.
I Subsonica sono un gruppo rock elettronico italiano nato a Torino nel 1996 dall’unione di alcuni esponenti della scena musicale alternativa: Samuel (cantante), Max Casacci, Boosta, Ninja e Pierfunk, sostituito poi da Vicio nel 1999. La band, influenzata dai linguaggi musicali più sperimentali, ha rivoluzionato la scena e ha creato un sound molto riconoscibile, coniugando suoni elettronici, incisività melodica tipicamente italiana e grande carica sul palco.

Durante anos este edifício esteve abandonado. Durante muitos anos, mais de dez, se não estou enganado.
Nunca soube ao certo o porquê. Talvez que pelo aspecto estranho. Foi desenhado pelo polémico arquitecto Tomáz Taveira, creio que edificado pouco tempo depois das torres das Amoreiras, em Lisboa. Era conhecido – pelo menos entre o meu círculo de conhecimentos – como o prédio do totobola, uma alusão às cruzes que se inserem no boletim.
Talvez que o abandono se prendesse com questões legais. Ou com o preço pedido. Ou a sua localização que, à época, não seria das mais famosas, entre o Cais do Sodré e Santos.
Seja como for, esteve muito tempo sem uso.
Depois mudou-se para cá o IADE. Não sei se pelo preço, se pela localização, se pelo desenho interior, se pelo desenho exterior. O certo é que se tornou no edifício do IADE, frequentado por alunos e professores de artes, comunicação, publicidade… fotografia incluída.
Hoje, depois de anos de não lhe prestar atenção, passei por ele. E dediquei-lhe algum tempo. Entre outros motivos por ter lido há uns dias que esta “universidade” teria sido comprada por uma congénere americana, junto com uma outra cujo nome não fixei. E fui olhando.
Para além de no exterior e no átrio de entrada haver frases, nomes e “boas-vindas” em inglês, algo houve que me deixou realmente estupefacto. E furioso.
No exterior, em frente da porta, vários grupos de alunos aproveitavam o ar e o sol. Um grupo maior e alguns mais pequenos.
No entanto… eram todos iguais. Cinzentos nos trajes, com roupas das mesmas marcas, mochilas das mesmas marcas, óculos iguais, até os penteados pareciam terem sido feitos pelos mesmos pentes. Iguais.

Se é verdade que os jovens precisam de se identificar com um grupo, é igualmente verdade que procuram um lugar ao sol – o seu lugar – batendo-se pela diferença e afirmação. Mais ainda seria de esperar numa instituição de ensino superior onde a criatividade é a pedra de toque e onde se espera que cada um seja criativo à sua maneira e diferente de todos os outros.
Não era, garantidamente, o que se via naquele montão de mais de trinta jovens, em idade de contestação e inovação!
Esperaria encontrar esta forma de estar numa universidade convencional, como Direito, ou História, ou Linguista, algo ligado à formalidade e ao rigor das regras e factos.
Agora num local como este!?
Se os estudantes de áreas criativas de hoje têm esta atitude formal e conservadora, cinzenta, amorfa, como exercerão o ofício que aqui aprendem?
Ou talvez que seja eu que estou errado, e o futuro da sociedade, criativos incluídos, seja a uniformidade, o cinzentismo, gente que tem um microchip implantado e responde a um número.

This place is pretty cool. They put microchips inside every ball, so you know exactly how far you hit it and you get points for hitting certain targets. The tee boxes are heated too (but in this weather, that didn't help much!). topgolfusa.com/

Before doing a prototype run of a circuit board, I always create a printout of how the board should look with my printer. Then I can place chips down and see that everything is really spot on. You'd be surprised how many little glitches I catch this way. :-)

You’d be forgiven for thinking there was a free treats promotion going on over December, judging by the queues of dogs and their owners lining up in popular dog parks around Melbourne. In fact, these dogs were given an even better treat — a return ticket home? As part of National Pet ID Month, National Pet Register and The Lost Dogs’ Home were extremely excited to launch our new ChipChecker stations; a one-stop-shop for pet owners wanting to get on top of their pet’s identification.
A total of 168 dogs microchips were scanned via ChipChecker stations across two weekends, with the 56 chips checked in Williamstown and 41 at Brighton Beach.
