A device inside the wooden casement projects the real-time movement of oil floating on water from a 3 inch Petri-dish to an 8 foot diameter spot on the gallery wall. Droplets of oil travel across the water, and thus across the wall.
Reception Robins enjoyed their visit from the micro pigs. They each had a chance to brush, stroke and walk the pigs.

The first week of the Foundation course was to experiment with new methods and new inspiration, to settle into the course easily. This Micro-Macro project is influenced by a microscopic photo of microorganisms, specifically disease cells. The interesting way in which they grow allowed a motif like repetition pattern to be created. We were given this repetitive aim as well as a specific colour chart we were limited to. This challenged the development of the mini project and made me see personally what Its like to be given a specific task and how to stick to it.
