This is 3Mâ„¢ Dual Lockâ„¢ "velcro". Each side is identically patterned with these "mushrooms". The advantage to this over traditional hook-and-loop fasteners is that the strong stalks provide much better hanging support for large posters. The caps interlock over each other, sticking the two pieces together. Each shroom is approximately 1.5mm tall. The red you see is from the 3M logo on the adhesive backing.
As the "undisputed king of Velcro photography", I feel obliged to periodically post some of these zoomified adhesive systems.
I took this photo with an Olympus E330 mounted to a Nikon SMZ1500 stereomicroscope using a combination of diascopic and episcopic illumination.
Difficult to find, a three grams glicerin releaser.... offers to do miracles of both children and adults... See to believe. This is early '30....
Even if I have controlled temperature in the "museum" sector of the house. This tiny beauty could not scape the Rigours of our Extremely hot climate.... This rubber pump was in excellent condition when it arrived. Unfortunately, half a degree up in the system did it all.It reducet the pump in a miserable state. Even if it is still supple but deformed, I will try my best to bring it back to a decent degree of credibility.... The rest is patience....
One for my photography set.
I came across a method a few years ago of using two lenses together, and never turned back. There are special reversal ring adapters, but that would take the fun out of making it all work without investing anything. (cheap)
Lord Business uses these tiny Micro Managers for roving around and preventing creativity. Benny uses them to break in his new tires.
This is my current fleet of micro military vehicles. I've been building this up over a couple of years. (See notes for more details.)

So yeah, I know it's a piece of gosa, but for something I put together in all of five minutes I thought it turned out well.
