Some factors of a part, whether material, rough, cycle time, or more, greatly affect their price. there are four tips for lowering part prices without sacrificing the components you need for success.
1.Material
By knowing what the best injection molding materials for parts is, you can improve economic efficiency. The first factor in deciding which material to use is where your parts will live. Will it be outdoors, indoors, next to the oven? The durability, temperature and stability need of the parts will help meet the material what you real need. Professional Tip: A quick way to determine materials is to look at the materials of existing products running in a similar environment - no need to reinvent the wheels.
The price of the material per pound/KG will vary greatly depending on the characteristics and advantages. For example, HDPE (high density polyethylene) costs about $1.50 per pound, while materials like polysulfone cost $12-15 per pound. When you can use cheaper materials without sacrificing parts needs, you can save money by choosing the most cost-effective option.
2. Cycle time
The faster the cycle time, the less overhead each part will be. The cycle time is the time it takes for the part to form during molding. The cycle time depends on the mold build, the water circuit, and its ability to cool the plastic to solid state.

I have seen Method soap in the stores before and actually bought some once. Beautiful packaging.
Why it works: Lots of negative space allowing the beautiful color of the soap to show through. There's a clear structure of hierarchy: first the product itself (the soap shown through the clear label), then the name, then the type of fragrance, then a description of the product. This type of stark design was an attention grabber to be in an often cluttered world of product design.

Chris Bond & Marcin Wojcik

For the 2012 Melbourne Art Fair BUS Projects will present a new body of work by Marcin Wojcik. The last time that BUS graced the halls of the Royal Exhibition Building was in 2004 when the then-directors presented work by Chris Bond. As a way of marking these two points in BUS’s history we have brought the two artists together for an exhibition running alongside the Art Fair in Gallery One at Donkey Wheel House.
Both Wojcik and Bond use fiction as a strategy for making work. Wojcik physically inhabits various training personas, developing props for these characters, whilst Bond creates elaborate fictional narratives as the basis for his art objects.
For Method, Chris Bond and Marcin Wojcik have selected works from each other’s back catalogue in a miniature retrospective teasing out some of the nexuses in their practices and highlighting BUS Projects’ interests in contemporary spatial practice.
We take pride in the methods we use for learning and teaching in the mornings. There are no cubicles which allow us to engage in conversation and simply have fun – which in our opinion is the best way of keeping the mind fresh, open and ready to absorb more information. This keeps us ready to approach our client's customers on a daily basis.
Digital Formalism: The Vienna Vertov Collection is a project funded by the WWTF within the "5 Senses" Call 2006. The 3-years-project started on February 1st, 2007. The home institution of the project is the Department of Theatre, Film and Media Studies (TFM), University of Vienna.
