Jonah unlocking the power of Castle Greyskull in front of his idol's movie promotion standup

I created this little painting/drawing with a sumi-type brush that had been dipped in water and I painted on the surface of a Buddha Board, a wonderful surprise gift that I received yesterday from a dear friend. These photographs were taken as a chronological sequence as the image literally disappeared before my eyes -- through the magic of evaporation.

I think it took about seven minutes for the drawing/painting to completely disappear. I don't know for sure because I was totally in the moment snapping away.... And that is the idea behind the concept of the Buddha Board. To quote:

"Buddha Boad is based on the Zen concept of living in the moment. You simply paint on the surface with water and your creation will come to life in bold design. Then, as the water slowly evaporates, your art will magically disappear leaving you with a clean slate and a clear mind -- ready to create a whole new masterpiece."

Recently the Amorphous Art group was created and there has been some discussion about "What is 'amorphous'."

It is pretty impossible to make art that does not have a recognizable shape. So this sequence, instead, is devoted to the closest I can come to creating amorphous art. The last, empty-of-form square may be the purest form of amorphous art -- nothing but color, as gudavagling (co-founder, with beato, of Amorphous Art) has impishly and seriously shown us.

On another serious note, this sequence may also be considered as a metaphor for the fragility of life.

VD Santorum (apologies for the metaphor)

This sleeping figure has an emotional innocence and an almost melancholy feeling that changes with the backgrounds around it.

As the speaker spoke, I drew the images and stories, along with various keywords and textual comments. Then later drew in the visual "railroad tracks" to help draw the readers eye in the flow of the conversation as it occurred.

I feel like this is kinda a metaphor of my life in the sense we both are constantly sucking up garbage and other crap then we run into a wall and remain there till someone or thing pushes us in a different direction.

My metaphor is not only the train but the whole train network. Trains takes us on journeys to different people and places. The first time using a train can be scary but after repeated use, becomes easier.
