"Holiday Wishes" is a cross stitch kit from Kreinik. I designed the project and stitched the model in one evening. Four designs are available. I love these pens! Makes a great gift. Pen uses standard Parker™ pen refills. Kreinik metallic threads on perforated paper.

Tried to get the color numbers in the picture so you can identify the ones you like. They are all gorgeous. The bright white (Marshmallow) is perfect - now you can do shading with the Kreinik 032 Pearl and 5555 Oyster.

Doodling one day with my crochet hook... used scraps of fleece yarn and Kreinik Metallic Heavy #32 Braid in light purple.

Refashioned a Goodwill kids' jacket, adding embroidery (Sublime Stitching pattern) and my own words. Used glow-in-the-dark thread and Kreinik #12 and #8 metallic braids.

Used Sublime Stitching pattern to embroider a kid's denim jacket (I made up the words kind of as a joke when the kid wears this on field trips). Used glow-in-the-dark threads and Kreinik metallic threads for extra bling.

Present for Bobi:)

Basket holds cat toys - needed a cat tag... Used Kreinik Iron-on #16 Braid to write the cat's name and add the charm. Easy way to use fabric scraps.

Used silver, green, red, blue and yellow colors of Kreinik metallic #12 Braid. Just use a needle with a larger eye and no problems working with the thicker thread. I like that size because it stands out well on denim and is strong.

Robin King created the stitch guide and taught this class at the TNNA needlearts industry trade show in Feb 2013. It uses Kreinik 154V Verdigris Braid.

Basket holds dog toys - needed a dog tag... Used Kreinik Iron-on #16 Braid to make the dog's name and add the star button.

made with sublime stitching patterns and lots of metallic thread

I am working on the conservation of this very finely woven gold lamé. It is the lining for an evening cloak.

Of course rockets are silver and metallicy, so embroidered that in Kreinik metallic #12 Braid colors. Did the fire in glow-in-the-dark colors.

I had so much fun doing the embroidery on this Goodwill jacket for a child friend of mine. Sublime Stitching pattern. Glow-in-the-dark and Kreinik metallic threads.

I love love love the 9 new Kreinik metallic thread colors. They have just a touch of 'pearl' in them - when you stitch with them they look like candy. Doug Kreinik said he was inspired by German and Polish glass when he came up with the colors. They are really fun to stitch with and have a subtle shimmer.

I can't help but be impressed at the quality of this lamé. They simply don't make textiles as fine as this anymore. I could barely unwind the metal to ID the core thread (it's cotton).

Close up of project using only one material and one medium. I picked "Metal and Stitch" for the January FAMM Challenge.

Pin cushion project from Cross Stitcher magazine.

I substituted the regular pink stranded cotton thread for a metallic one from DMC.

This is the fabric that I chose to back it ...

Pimped up these badges patterns from the book - Cross-Stitch: Explore Strange New Worlds of Crafting - as Christmas ornaments.

Added Kreinik and Gütermann metallic threads, and Mill Hill beads.

Stitched on gold, 14-counts, perforated paper.

Already used two different types of metallic braids. Love the shimmery Jazlyn fabric! [This pic is without flash trying to capture the glistening..]

What's this? Foundation for a mess I'm making...

I had this in my studio forever, and the time came to donate a piece to an auction fundraiser, so I gave her a party hat and put it in this hoop that matches the fabric. Hooray!

It's a pretty big mess...
