This one was called VanFright, and it uses three colors of Kreinik 1/16" Ribbon (the green glows in the dark) in the very easy Van Dyke stitch. I love this stitch because it looks like a braid.

Project was easy to do - took just over an hour. Finishing was instant since the kit comes with the pen.

These are going to a magazine in England for a special Christmas prize pack. Love these colors for holiday stitching. From www.kreinik.com.

This model hangs in the Kreinik office. I don't know who stitched it, but I love the blend of metallic, real metal, and silk threads. From the article 7 Fun Ways to Stitch Bugs: www.mrxstitch.com/7-fun-ways-stitch-bugs/

A cross stitch I did for my sister for Christmas several years ago. It was done in gold metallic thread, which although annoying to work with, looks beautiful. It is about 15 cm by 15 cm.

Threads! From the Kreinik booth at the TNNA needlearts industry trade show, February 2013 in Long Beach, California.

I was really into making bookmarks for awhile there, back when I had time to read (maybe I will get back to it soon). But excited to see my photos on the Kreinik web page this month, as Featured Freebies. My grandmother always had tatted or handmade bookmarks, so they remind me of her.

I love this stitched Easter Basket design by Pam Kellogg - could be stitched on regular fabric too for an Easter ornament.

This is my favorite one. I think it's because of the intense green eyes and also all the metallic thread I used to free-motion quilt it.

I love gathering al the supplies together!
