This is a single 4 second shot with my Meade DSI Color II through my LXD75 8" Schmidt-Newtonian. I have adjusted the gamma to see more of the nebula. I typically do this when imaging deep sky objects to get a better sense of what I'll eventually get after stacking.

The Veil Nebula last night. A supernova remnant in Cygnus.First time I've taken an image of this beauty.

 

Tek stuff: Canon 6D mark ii, William Optic ZS61 refractor, iOptron CEM40 mount. 22, 5 minute guided exposures at ISO 1600. 12 dark frames. No flats, dark flats or bias frames used. RAW images processed in Raw Therapee to TIFF files, Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, Stretched using r-n-c stretch algorithm, Reduced stars to high light nebulosity in Photoshop using Astropanel extension and Sharpened using Topaz Sharpen AI.
