Doing a demolition on your own — especially if you are a homeowner who has never done it before — can be messy, time consuming and hard! At Junk Valet, we offer fast, professional and low-cost demolition.
Hi, I’m Dennis from Junk Valet, a full-service demolition and junk removal solution for homeowners and remodeling contractors.
Are you finally remodeling your bathroom, putting in the kitchen that you’ve always wanted or adding a new home office? That’s great news, but before you can start building out your new room, you first need to get rid of the old architecture. That calls for some good old-fashioned demolition.
At Junk Valet, our crews are trained to provide top-notch demolition services. We can take down old kitchen cabinets, pull up flooring, break down walls, pull out large appliances, and the like, all in a safe and professional manner. We will then haul away all the debris so that you will have a clean space to begin your renovations.
We have worked with many remodeling contractors and individual homeowners to provide demolition services to bathrooms, kitchens, home interiors, patios, trailers, outbuildings and all sorts of other specialized projects.
Homeowners love us because we can safely and quickly break down a remodel site for them at a much lower price than a typical remodeling contractor. We also work with many remodeling contractors who bring us in as sub-contractors. While they finish up one project, we can perform the demolition phase of their next project, allowing them to work smarter and generate more profit.
We will also remove all of the resulting debris. Demolition is almost always a messy process and can result in lots of dust, broken glass, concrete fragments in the demolition space. You definitely don’t want that in your home! At Junk Valet, we clean up our messes. Homeowners can expect a clean, safe remodel space when our demolition project is complete.
Junk Valet is also the safe demolition solution. Many homeowners who may want to tackle a remodel on their own should still consider hiring professionals to handle the demolition aspect of the project. If you are remodeling a bathroom or kitchen, for example, there are water and gas pipes to take into consideration as well as electrical wire. An untrained individual who breaks down a wall or pulls up flooring can cause massive and expensive damage or can even put themselves in danger!
Don’t take the risk. Call the experts. At Junk Valet, our prices are fair and our professionalism can’t be beat. Homeowners and remodeling contractors throughout Las Vegas have come to rely on us as their demolition and junk removal experts, and we hope to earn your business as well.

At Junk Valet, you call and we break down and haul. Thanks for watching.

Edited Hubble Space Telescope image of M 105, a large elliptical galaxy with what looks like a jet of material from its center. Color/processing variant.
Original caption: It might appear featureless and unexciting at first glance, but NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope observations of this elliptical galaxy — known as Messier 105 — show that the stars near the galaxy’s centre are moving very rapidly. Astronomers have concluded that these stars are zooming around a supermassive black hole with an estimated mass of 200 million Suns! This black hole releases huge amounts of energy as it consumes matter falling into it and causing the centre to shine far brighter than its surroundings. This system is known as an active galactic nucleus. Hubble also surprised astronomers by revealing a few young stars and clusters in Messer 105, which was thought to be a “dead” galaxy incapable of star formation. Messier 105 is now thought to form roughly one Sun-like star every 10 000 years. Star-forming activity has also been spotted in a vast ring of hydrogen gas encircling both Messier 105 and its closest neighbour, the lenticular galaxy NGC 3384. Messier 105 was discovered in 1781, lies about 30 million light-years away in the constellation of Leo (The Lion), and is the brightest elliptical galaxy within the Leo I galaxy group.
After waiting quite a lengthy period to solve the issue of combining the RGB data with the Luminance (L) of this, I have finally managed to do so. I am very new to this type of processing and as I only had 15 subs of L and 10 subs of R, G and B each to play with, I am really pleased with the result. Each sub was 7 minutes, 420 seconds, long. Total integration time just over 5 hours.
To cope with having such a tiny desk with no storage, I started keeping things piled beside the desk - I forgot to take a picture of this stuff when it was beside the desk, but it was just a messy, only piled on the floor.

Messier 32 (also known as M32 and NGC 221) is a dwarf "early-type" galaxy located about 2.65 million light-years from Earth, appearing in the constellation Andromeda. M32 is a satellite galaxy of the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) and was discovered by Guillaume Le Gentil in 1749. M32 measures 6.5 ± 0.2 thousand light-years in diameter at the widest point.
The galaxy is a prototype of the relatively rare, compact elliptical (cE) galaxy class. Half the stars concentrate within an effective radius of only 100 parsecs. Densities in the central stellar cusp increase steeply, exceeding 3×107 M⊙ pc−3 at the smallest radii resolved by HST, and the half-light radius of this central star cluster is around 6 parsec. Like more ordinary elliptical galaxies, M32 contains mostly older faint red and yellow stars with practically no dust or gas and consequently no current star formation. It does, however, show hints of star formation in the relatively recent past.

Messier 65 (also known as NGC 3623) is an intermediate spiral galaxy about 35 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. It was discovered by Charles Messier in 1780. Along with M66 and NGC 3628, M65 forms the Leo Triplet, a small group of galaxies.

Took this testing some stuff. I used my 9.25 Inch Celestron SCT with 3x Barlow with ZWO ASI1600-MC using the orion Skyglo filter. This was difficult as the magnification amplified tracking issues. Still the tracking was enough that software was able to align and stack.
This is a stacked image combining 228 30sec exposures for a total of 2 hrs of exposure.

This week our challenge is to attempt messy altered art. The image here is from e-vint.com (greatly altered and coloured). There is some digital painting and some Photoshop brushes with a background by Captivated Visions.

the white fluffy stuff is from those white anemones. I left it alone since I like the way it looks for some reason, especially when the morning sun lights it up.
