Went to Fingal yesterday, another first for me! Took this shot on my phone, looked at it this morning and was astounded when I saw the light from above, I believe it was a message form the Big Fella <3
Were most certainly on the agenda when this very candid photograph was taken recently? All dressed up in wolford pantyhose, super sexy white stilettos and red nails typing away some rather sexy thoughts...so what message would you send me if i gave you my number.. (maybe i will even give my number to my favourite and most imaginative response) . Have a lovely weekend wherever you are xx
'Selling now, exclusively for the over 60s' and ‘danger of death'.........from old age I’m assuming! 😀
Quick 34 second exposure. Taken during a full moon and I used a yellow gel to highlight this mustard colored truck. I have no idea what this writing is but who ever did it was probably quite proud. This doesn't have any great composition, not even a back tire but what I really like is the line of lights in the background and the mountain range. Taken in the desert looking west.
So, since I joined Flickr, there have been many changes that have taken place over the years. There are pros and cons to the changes that have occurred. One of the pros to the changes is that there is far more traffic/views of my photostream. However, one of the main drawbacks that I see is that Flickr feels a lot less like a social networking website for photographers -- which is really what it was all about in the early stages of its infancy.
I've always enjoyed the feedback of the many photographers that I admire and look up to here on Flickr. Unfortunately, I hardly ever get any constructive criticisms or pointers from these people anymore. Granted, I could always email and message them for advice... But, it didn't used to be that way. In many ways it feels like that "Flickr magic" has diminished if not disappeared altogether. I have grown so much as a photographer simply by seeing others' work and receiving amazing pointers from them on how to accomplish the things I wanted to in photography.
Unfortunately, this incredible resource may not give up-and-coming photographers/artists the same step up that it once gave me. It's too bad really, and I feel bad for them. I guess ignorance is bliss... but just because they don't know that they're missing out on something, doesn't mean that they aren't missing out on something.
