these mysterious messages are painted on streets all over Philly and the Jersey Shore. I don't know what it means, but it's interesting.
the smaller writing underneath reads:
"si tu penses encore a ton ex, c'est pas fini entre vous deux. retourne vers elle ou lui et prend ce train. crois-moi j'ai vieu la meme chose."
Life in Ann Arbor is a wonderful thing - this town is full of strong messages, like the one in this photo. This is a sticker I found, fixed to a light post. Feb 2009.

The clip-art on this one is sending a really mixed message. It looks suspiciously like a Christmas tree - but it can't be because I'm Jewish.
On view in the exhibition PEARLS OF WISDOM are more than 150 pearls and pearl discs made by survivors of domestic abuse (see wall of pearl discs pictured here). Among the many “pearls of wisdom” are messages of hope, including “You will open your wings when you’re ready, and believe me you will fly.”
