Back in 1994, when I went to the GMTS Spring Transport Festival, I bought three pads of forms...two of which were Greater Manchester Transport. I no longer have the pads but, before I got shut of them, I detached a page from each for posterity and this is one of them.
It's a Form 521 from December 1979 and would have been used for either filing a report or sending a memo and I don't think Ron Barton (a driver from Queens Road Garage at the time) HAS one of these in his collection which is surprising, given his reputation for filtching ephemera out of rubbish bins.
Read this and you will see that the it was expected that this would be received in time for an afternoon match and I think it was posted in the morning of the same day.
Well, I guess that sounds about right.
I'll be good now.

Local primary school children have designed a number of these which are now to be found on site.They target litter and dog fouling and are a great idea.Let's hope the message gets through!
