This is a message you get when you delete a game on my phone. There are at least two things really wrong it -- (1) how many people beyond the programmers who wrote this message know what "JAR files" are? (2) Ever hear of word wrapping?
I got a message from a person the other day stating that I haven't done any beer reviews from Poland yet. It's subtle things like that that I miss, I never realize that I haven't tried beers from several countries as sometimes you just pass over them and never try it to begin with. So here I am trying out the Polish beer Żywiec Premium Lager by Żywiec Brewery.
First off, the beer is 5.5% and comes in a 500mL bottle. I've drank so many lagers in this project that It kind of bores me. How does this beer fare?
First off, when I popped off the cap, I got a very very strong lager smell to it, stronger whiff than a traditional Canadian lager as I was a fare distance from the bottle as it is. Pouring the beer, nothing surprising here, a golden lager with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma: corn, slight malty smell to it. Taste wise: basically what you'd expect in a European lager, tastes like a lager, but oddly enough - no skunkiness at all.
Would I buy this again? No, as there are dozens of other lagers from Europe that taste nearly the same for a few cents cheaper.
From the label: "Since 1856 this premium beer has been brewed according to the original Zywiec brewers' recipe from the best natural ingredients. Contains finest malted barley, choicest hops and pure mountain water."

The nice Dutch chap I was working with has tattoos - I only saw them after a few days of working with him when he removed his overalls.
I have to admit that I'm not a fan of tattoos even though they appear to have gone mainstream.
However, I was taken aback at these. Theses convey powerful messages with background to them that I discovered when I talked to him about them.
It's interesting meeting people and discovering things about them.
He has served with the Royal Netherlands Army in Afghanistan.
There is no message we're receiving.

I started a new project, project Message in a Bottle. I am creating little pieces of art, put them in a bottle, close them off with cotton fabric, wax and hemp string, and then release them into the river Rhine, hoping that someone will find them. More about the project can be found here:

The Origins of the Internet
“When the Soviet Union launched the Sputnik satellite in 1957, the US government responded with dramatically increased support of technology research and development, much of it funded through the new Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA). In 1966 Bob Taylor of ARPA’s computer research division obtained funding for a network called ARPANET to link computers so that resources and results could be shared more easily. He hired Larry Roberts of MIT to manage the project, which was based on newly-invented packet-switching technology. At the end of the 1969 the ARPANET began operating with four nodes: University of California at Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, Stanford Research Institute, and University of Utah. That original ARPANET gradually grew into the Internet, which 30 years later had about 43 million nodes.
The early Internet, used primarily by engineers and scientists, was not at all user-friendly. As e-mail and file transfer protocols and programs matured, non-specialists started to use it. In 1989, Tim Berners-Lee of the CERN high-energy physics lab in Europe proposed a protocol for the exchange of online documents which became the basis for the World Wide Web. The development in 1993 of the graphical browser Mosaic by Marc Andreessen and his team at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) made the web accessible to everyone and led to its explosive growth. Marc Andreessen and entrepreneur Jim Clark founded Netscape in 1994 to create a web browser based on the Mosaic project. Netscape Navigator quickly dominated the early browser market.”

The only reason why I even keep this phone around in my room with enough charge to look at it always is because of this text message. When my normal phone broke I had to use this phone until AT&T shipped me a new, non-broken phone. I had four text messages saved on my old phone, this being the one actual important one. The texts were saved to my sim card, so they automatically transfered to this phone. When I got my old phone back, I made sure this text was still saved and I put my sim card back in my old phone. When I went to saved texts, the folder was empty, for some reason the texts stayed on this phone and I can't figure out how to get them off it. I have never been more upset in my life, because this text means a lot to me, and so does the person who sent it to me. This phone will never leave my sight or my room, this text means too much to me.
