I captured a number of photos from this location and they all have different lights on the structures and water. Somehow this is the only photo in the lot that has red streaks in the purple light reflecting from the lotus-flower-shaped ArtScience Museum. I really like the mesmerizing colorful reflection in the water.

Anyway, Marina Bay Sands depicted in this photo is an integrated resort which is owned by the Las Vegas Sands corporation, founded by entrepreneur Sheldon Adelson. The 20-hectare (49.5 acres) resort was designed by Moshe Safdie architects.

Assuredly one of the best looking cars in history. This one is a 1 of 20 LP640 Versace.

I liked this back lighting that was coming through the little one's eye from this angle. She was mesmerized by something on the television.

During the sunrise at Kolukkumalai Tea Estate, the highest tea estate in the world, the sky took two colours. Due to the shadow of the hill half of the sky was blue, and the other part was warm orange because of rising sun rays.

The Naval cathedral of Saint Nicholas in Kronstadt (Russian: Морской Никольский собор, Morskoj Nikol'skij sobor) is a Russian Orthodox cathedral built in 1903–1913 as the main church of the Russian Navy and dedicated to all fallen seamen. The cathedral was closed in 1929, was converted to a cinema, a House of Officers (1939) and a museum of the Navy (1980).

There's gonna be a few more long exposures of the ocean as I get them edited. Cape Perpetua yielded a lot of keepers.

This image captures the mesmerizing spiral staircase at Hide Restaurant in London, a true architectural marvel. The warm wooden tones and the fluidity of the curves create an organic movement, leading the eye downwards to the intricate patterns of the circular floor design. It’s a symphony of woodwork that embodies both form and function, inviting viewers to ponder its craftsmanship and artistry. This staircase is not just a means to traverse floors; it’s a statement piece that accentuates the beauty of natural materials and sophisticated design.

Designed by Atmos Studios and beautifully crafted from laminated oak, this structural staircase resembles a tree truck branching upwards, creating a dynamic and organic centerpiece.

Due to the limited time of stay in London, I just dropped by Hide one morning and asked for the permission to take some photos of their renowned staircase. I remember the three-storey restaurant was fairly full during my visit. I regret having missed the opportunity of enjoying a lunch or dinner, or even a cup of coffee there, as I only found out much later that it’s got a Michelin star …and an impressive wine list. I think I’ll be back one day:-)

The colors dancing just under the water, of this portion of the Middle Fork of the Stanislaus River, made me stop and take notice.

James on the look out, mesmerized by the goings-on outside..

Oh, eyes of blue and verdant green,

A tapestry where dreams convene.

I lose myself within your gaze,

In endless depths of emerald haze.

So let me wander, lost and free,

In galaxies that bloom in thee.

For in your eyes, my world is found,

A paradise on sacred ground.
