Edit: taken during cherry blossom season yay. I know this isn't in focus but I like it anyway
In December we headed to Lenzerheide above Chur, a ski resort in the Swiss Alps. At night we went to the Zauberwald (Magic Forest), an event with outdoor art exhibit, food and concerts. This ever moving laser show was mesmerizing.
I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Black-crowned Night-herons love to hide in bushes. I love spotting them there. This one really held my interest.

He was staring up at the mantel where we keep Pixie's ashes in a box. We think he was watching her ghost dancing along the mantel without knocking anything over.

Our first whole day in the Lofoten islands was great! We saw and photographed so many beautiful sceneries that we got really exhausted in the end. And it didn't help that we had stayed up half the night before to photograph the midnight sun ツ But when you're up here, you really don't want to sleep that much - there's too much beauty to capture 😉

I originally planned to shoot at Point Dume tonight, but they were shooting Chuck there, so onward I went to El Matador. I'm really glad I went there instead, since there really weren't many clouds in the sky, and the small bit I saw at El Matador was in the perfect place during sunset.
I wanted to get this shot without any people in the scene but I thought the park guest (and the stroller) added a little bit of "human element" to the shot. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
