During our workshop to Moab we had to visit the iconic and much photographed Mesa Arch. It was a beautiful sunrise and everyone there was well behaved letting people in, crossing tripod legs, and moving around for each to see and photograph.

Mesa Arch is a natural sandstone arch in the Island in the Sky area of Canyonlands National Park. It sits on the edge of a cliff and perfectly frames some incredible views of canyons, rock formations, and the distant La Sal Mountains. Since it's especially stunning at sunrise, I joined about 20 other photographers early this morning to catch the shot.
O ouvido zombi,
Igual a velha Kombi.
O silencio me dá medo,
Prefiro tomar
Cartão vermelho,
Ou um Ecstasy
Fazer uma música
Ritimada no batido forte.
O silêncio me mata
Mesmo sem mata
Sou do barulho
Tum tac tum tac tum, tudum, tudum
Esqueci ate a música,
que outrora amava,
das mulheres, nem se fala,
Sera que às esqueci?
Cai da pinguela
Porque vc não está aqui?
Solidão me assusta
Silêncio me mata,
sentimentos nao basta,
sem dar a mão a emoção.
Se conhecer é esquecer
O contexto, os defeitos
Ahhh, deixe pra lá
O bom é sorrir.
Mas pensei na vida,
Nas suas passarelas
Pontes ou pinguelas,
Que unem as matas,
Os rios e as latas
A beleza humana e
o lixo.
Ouvi até o Lenine
E a VirgÃnia Rosa
Será que foi "A Ponte"?

Utah is vulnerable to wildfires, thunderstorms, and tornadoes in late spring and summer.Lightning strikes spark summer wildfires, while thunderstorms cause flash floods due to the inability of vegetation to hold even a moderate amount of water. North Caineville Mesa

Hunts Mesa in northern Arizona is quite a religious experience as you watch the sun come up overlooking Monument Valley. I recently met a Navajo woman that lives in the top right section of this shot.
