A trip around Mérida, Yucatán. I didn't have my wide angle lens, but the telescope one, so I took this as an oportunity to take pics just with it. It was a good experiment as this lens gave me the opportunity to see details that I haven't seen.

With a population of just under 60,000, Mérida is the capital of the autonomous region of Extremadura. Founded in 25BC, it is a city with a huge and important architectural heritage and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. Among its most celebated "must-see" sights are the Roman Amphitheatre, the 'Puento Romano', the 'Temple of Diana', the 'Circus Maximus', the 'Arch of Trajan' and the remains of the 'Acueducto de los Milagros'. But there's so much more to see in this wonderful city which makes an overnight stay essential - but beware, it can get very hot in the summer! I wanted to make Merida's hair more movie accurate, since she doesn't actually have a middle parting or cascading curls. I wanted to make her hair look rougher. Her hair was somewhat hard to re-part since she has so much hair gel in her and I'm so afraid of touching her because the curls frizz so easily. But I think I was successful. :)
Formaba parte da condución que traía a auga a Mérida desde o encoro de Proserpina situado a 5 km da cidade. Data de inicios do I dC. A arquería atópase actualmente bastante ben conservada, sobre todo o tramo que salva o val do río Albarregas. Coñéceselle con este nome, debido a que parece un milagre que aínda siga en pé.
