As the 60 (Pamona) freeway end it merges to I-10, 101, and here with I-5. 10 o'clock at night at it is still busy. The 60 is coming from the left.
2 photos of mine merged together with the 'true HDR' app for the iphone.
In this case a picture of a flower and a picture of our local nature reserve.
I like the way these came out.
This was an another assignment for my photoshop class. We had to take a picture from Vancouver archives and merge it into what it looks like today.
High Dynamic Range Photography [two images] Submit TWO HDR images. The first one should be called “Faux Single Shot HDR” in which you use the Faux HDR technique, and the second image should be called “Merged HDR” merging three exposures. Each image should be of entirely different subjects.
I'm feeling a little Halloweeny-gothic today... clearly. I did warn of my new "merge" addiction, right? ;)
It's just so much FUN!
Portrait Merging Project from my class at SVA. My nose and mouth on a classmate's head. Apparently, I have a "really good eye at getting the subtle features down in Photoshop". The printed version looks great. :D
I think I'm just anal about detail. :P

Driving home after a day shooting at a sporting event in west London I saw this sunset, and after finding somewhere to park, and then finding a convenient gatepost to make up for my lack of tripod, I tried a few exposure bracketed sets of the view. I think this is the best composition, and the only one that included the road and car lights. Three exposures (0, +2 2/3 and -2 2/3) were hand blended in photoshop to get this image. I could have merged them as an HDR with photomatix, but sometimes just a simple exposure stack can produce a more natural result, and can be done either in photomatix or any image editing software with layers.
