These 'Peace' roses were from the last Mothers Day bouquet I gave my mum. Just before they died I took them and hung them to dry. They lay now in the box - still beautiful even in their death...
I have placed contorted leaves , printed with snippets of her love letters, to intermingle with the roses.

Whenever I traveled or moved to a place, I tried to pick up at least one postcard to keep for myself. I'm not listing where these are from, but you can pretty much figure most of them out. And if you can't, don't worry. It reeeally doesn't matter.

My favorite Christmas card from this past holiday season. I used a sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketches. Poinsettia stamp is from Unity; sentiment is from PTI.
Every one has those horrible boxes of the needed tissues hanging around the house, well I couldn't take them any longer. With all of the vintage cool stuff I have, I came up with a great solution.
This box featured has wonderful vintage images of cats on it.
I have decoupage the image on a wooden tissue box cover and trimmed it in copper. Each one is hand made by me, signed and dated.
Middle school memorabilia that I felt was worthy of my little shoe box.
Sort of clockwisey from top L: school (Villa Academy, Seattle WA); me w/ headmaster (Mr. Melonson? I think that was his name), and BFF Ai; me, Sylvie the cat, and Ai; eighth grade ID card; graduation tassel.
Buttons buttons buttons. And some pins, I guess. Or whatever you call them. From before people kept their flair on their fb profiles.
I'll tell you right now though; as an adult, maybe...lemme see...11 of these would make it to my flair wall. Can you guess which ones?
12 if you count ONE HR button, because I wouldn't want more than one. I wonder where all my fancy, musical instrument HR buttons are...I know I'd never throw them away. Oh! I wonder if that means I have another memory box somewhere in the house! :D
Close up of Memory Box Card. When you stamp onto glossy photo paper with the Tim Holz Distress Ink, it does this crazy neat puddling thing (the effect you can see in the deer).
The box itself is a memory. A boy with a crush gave it to me when I was 13. He had bought it at a neighborhood yard sale. Today it sits on my dresser and is full of memories - lost teeth, locks of hair from the kids first haircuts, concert stubs, photos, out of print money, hair clips from when my girls were little, etc.
