This photo is almost exactly 5 years old, it was taken on January 1st, 2015 in the Bastei area in Saxon Switzerland. At that time we still had snow. After the rain in the night before it had cooled down a lot and so fog formed on the ground that lasted until the evening and created this evening mood...
Fast genau 5 Jahre ist dieses Foto alt, es entstand am 01.01.2015 im Basteigebiet in der Sächsischen Schweiz. Damals hatten wir noch Schnee. Nach dem Regen in der Nach zuvor hatte es sich stark abgekühlt und so bildete sich am Boden Nebel, der sich bis zum Abend hielt und für diese Abendstimmung sorgte

Smile on Saturday: Full of Memories
Being a teenager in the sixties was exciting and the start of a new Era in the music scene, these are some of my memories from those days, my Beatle concert tickets from 1963 which I pasted into an album and my first LP's
This is an old fuzzy photo from the late 1990's of a backpacking trip in Georgian Bay, Bruce Trail area in Ontario. This is our dog Dingo keeping watch over us as we set up one of our camps in a very secluded location. She wore a bear bell the entire trip as bears were present and it was September when bears are trying to fatten up for winter hibernation. We had to haul our provisions up tall trees to try to keep contact with bears at a minimum. We had a few sightings but mostly saw fresh scat and had that feeling of being watched which is sometimes unnerving. Keeps you very alert and Dingo was a big help in keeping watch.
