Woe is me, the older I get
I must try to remember not to forget
I believe my mind is still in fair shape
Yet, so many things just seem to escape
My memory lapse is hard to ignore
I have need to remember those things from before
Without recollection, I’ll forever be seeking
Things from the past, historically speaking
If I could remember past trips to far places
My travel companions, and all of their faces
I’d gratefully stay in thought so reflective
Past, present and future would have more perspective
I sometimes wonder about things I recall
Is my vision of them not true at all
Likely they’re pictured in great extreme
Or perhaps fictioned from one of my dreams
I hope I’ll eventually see through this curtain
This curtain that’s keeps me so very uncertain
The one sure way to escape this dilemna
Is to never forget to always remember

Because I see it better like that, having seen in the right way for far too long.

I love how pocketable this 1970s camera is. This roll stayed in the camera for a few months at the start of the year and had photos from places as varied as Preston (NW of England, UK), Santa Monica, Arizona, Las Vegas and New Mexico.
.
I love that about film - sometimes a film will get shot in an hour, but other times it'll take months to finish a roll. The latter usually happens with the XA as it is just always there, ready to go, but not always the main camera.

Hmmmm . . . memory recovery. Just the thing for "I forgot Day."
At 120 pictures in 2020 we are recognizing “I Forgot Day.”
Here still summer so no autunm photos to upload just photos to remember summer holidays.
have a nice day my friends. keep smiling be happy :))**
My Uncle and Aunt use to have a cabin at the local lake. On the walls where photos like this. They would have handwriting on them that described the people or places in the picture. How I wish I had a couple of those now.
Their cabin had an old 78 speed hand crank record player that we would take turns winding up. There was no running water and an old outhouse out back. So it was GREAT as a young boy (won't speak for the grownups).
It's been awhile, and the cabin is long gone, but here's to those great days of long ago.
Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan
Memory
All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
I was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again
Every streetlamp
Seems to beat a fatalistic warning
Someone mutters
And the streetlamp gutters
And soon it will be morning
Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I musn't give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin
Burnt out ends of smoky days
The stale cold smell of morning
The streetlamp dies, another night is over
Another day is dawning
Memory Grove Park features memorials to Utah’s veterans and a replica of the Liberty Bell. City Creek Canyon road is a walking, jogging, and bicycling route extending into the mountains to the northeast.

Cooking for a bunch of hungry teenagers athletes might not be that bad if your best friend helps you out! Who knows, food for the body, the mind, and the soul might be just the thing to get them out!

Recently I visited a number of veterans of the WWII, all of them in their nineties, some in late nineties, and one granny is right 100!

Memories are made of these.
People are always asking why i take so many photos? By people I mean my wife lol.
She still doesn't get it that i have missed so many years of being the true the me that I still feel that it will all get taken away and all i will have are memories and as we get older those memories fade..
These photos are my memories i can look back and go yeah that was me and i did do that and i did have a life.
Or I am just simply very vain lol.
Empty Skies is another outstanding feature of Liberty State Park. It's walls list the names of the New Jersey residents lost on 9/11.
~Forget everything and move on
Because I will go to you
When your breath
Calls out to me again
I won't ever forget
Watching over you, my heart fluttering
Even when I was ridiculously jealous
All of those moments that you gave to me~

Ik the picture is blurry n dark, i took it on a computer that i forgot was shit and makes everything blurry.. but... this picture is really special to me.. so.... the only way to make it ok looking was to make it like this... it kinda works tho, since i want it to basically be like a memory.. fuzzy, and shadowy.. but still sweet....
