I know it's Wednesday, and there's no bokeh, but this is the one I wanted to upload today, so HBW anyway.
Thank you for all the comments on my b&w conversion! I use lilyblue actions/presets to do them with just minor adjustments to tailor them to the particular photo. I cannot recommend them enough!
my meetup group went to the uc davis arboretum this morning. i'll be processing the photos this week...and will post a few of them here and on my blog.
After we left the shelter of a local tavern, half of us went to another bar to meetup with Kim's hubby. Naturally, a headless on the bench shot had to happen. :)

The Instagram account @IGersBoston hosted a great photowalk yesterday as part of instagram's #WWIM14 - worldwide instameet 14. I guess that means there have been 14 of them, but I only went to my first one last spring and this was my second.
April 25th Minnesota Henna Meetup.
Chelsea wanted her feet dipped. I told her it would be more fun to have designs on them...:o)
The soles of the feet are a challenging body part to henna, skin folds, more than vertical positioning, lots of curves. It was fun!

The only thing I shot at the last meetup I went to. Sometime between the start of the four hour round trip and the time it was supposed to start they decided to cancel because it was cold.

Woooooo my first Oregon meetup upload. Just go ahead and imagine me setting off fireworks and dancing and Gregorian chanting because that's what's been happening in my mind for the last three or four days evrything is fukn awesome and nothing hurt I mean the portapotties smell pretty bad but that ain't even matter.
I'm seriously so, so happy I can't even describe. Just like. I'm just so happy, is all. I keep just having these moments of like pure, uncut, unadulterated happiness and I never want them to stop please don't make me go back to Ohio. Oregon is so insanely gorgeous and these people are so inspiring and beautiful and perfect and the goats are plenty. It's the life and I am honestly living it this time.

The local rocks are avid students of history. They get together once a month to recreate things out of the past. This particular meeting was an attempt to reenact the great pyramids. According to the fiddleneck, the rocks didn't do too well.

From a few years ago after first moving to Florida. I joined some Meetup groups that were local to make friends. This is the first one I went to and it was packed, maybe 300 people or so in a nice bar and restaurant. Sure I was bit nervous going in but I quickly met Marisol, above in black, and she was fun and introduced me around to both some women and men there. And later I met Karen, in the pink, who was a doll too ! Interestingly I did get up and do some solo wondering around and found it very natural and even talked with several guys who were all very nice and asked if this was my first time coming to the groups meeting and even was given a few phone numbers ! In fact no one gave me hard time or said anything negative, only compliments even though I was the only Tgirl in this very straight singles party ! I was flying sky high and even hooked up with Marisol a few weeks later to go to the groups Halloween party which was equally (and maybe even more) fun than this first one I went to !
So I went to an instagram meetup in cleveland & had a bunch of fun! Me and my friend adventured off and went up on the 10th floor of the library (when we apprently weren't supposed to because the door should have been locked) but it wasn't.....so it was fair game!
My first time with the Scottsdale Meetup group. Yes every once in a while an outfit will get repeated. No one here had seen it though :) And what's that book :)
