This conversion was made from a Necron Canoptek Reanimator, an Adeptus Mechanics Tech Priest Dominus, a few other bits and pieces from other AdMech kits, and a few green stuff tentacles.
As soon as I saw the Canoptek Reanimator in the Indomitus previews I knew I had to make a tech priest out of one.
The Reanimator was primarily "de-Necroned" with judicious application of "sprue goo" (plastic sprue disccolved into liquid polystyrene cement) to fill in the various Necron glyphs and symbols dotted around its body.

At this stage I had assembled each of the main individual pieces of Sector Mechanicus terrain that would go on to make Waagh Rokkit Ajax. I then stacked them up to get an idea of its size and to check that its shape would be OK. I did have another cylindrical piece if I wanted to make the whole thing longer but at this point I could see it was going to be plenty big enough.
Some of these pieces had already been partially customised for this project, you can see that I've opened up the panel where the slingshot wielding snotling goes, and drilled out a circular vent that will become a snotling-occupied firing port, but other modifications, such as the revolushunree stars and battle damage have yet to be added.

Mighty armies of Astra Militarum, Adeptus Astartes, Adeptus Mechanicus, and more battle to liberate these historic worlds from their Chaos-tainted oppressors. Heroes rise and fall, worlds burn, and legends are forged.

While Gerti is an Imperial Guard vehicle, the Adeptus Mechanicus have left their mark on her, literally in the case of the Opus Machina skull at the end of her crane's boom.
