Here's the second shoot for the fitness club and gym Move Factory in Stuttgart, Germany.

Having photographed the interior itself in the first shoot, this time non-professional models were hired to shoot a promotional series for the gym including people. The models were chosen by the Move Factory.

The main target was to picture the Move Factory as a fun place to work out for people of all ages including classic exercises such as rack lifting, dumbbells as well as cross-fit exercises and group workouts. Those pictures will be used alongside the interiors on the company's website: www.move-factory.de/

I rigged up this shoe on wires hanging down to showcase the whole design including the sole. As it comes to lighting: I used ambient light mixed with my strobe with a beauty dish attached as the main soft light and a speed-light to fill in the sole. In the end, I light-painted the shoe from many different angles and blended it all together in Photoshop.

I have been planning to shoot those pictures for a month already. But then, the weather turned upside down and it was either completely overcast or pouring. Rarely, the sun won the fight against the clouds.

Yesterday, everything finally came together perfectly! I asked my fellow cyclist from Stuttgart to use the amazingly warm weather with temperatures of 22°C in November! That is just unbelievable! The warmest November ever, I guess.

So we met up and rode out together to the vineyards, where I had already scouted the shooting location, a while ago. I am so happy we used this last opportunity of a golden autumn. We had tons of fun, took pictures and enjoyed an amazing sunset.

Individual, unusual and living the free spirit: The apartment resort THE SECRET in Sölden

in the Austrian Ötztal will surprise you from December 2021 with an innovative overall concept. The hosts are following an open-house approach and are deliberately breaking

existing structures. The heart of the house is the LA'LIV with a cozy living room atmosphere. After breakfast, either here or in your own apartment

served, it turns into the central meeting place. Thanks to the innovative open bar catering, guests have the opportunity to help themselves to the fine selection of

Finger food, snacks and wine chilled on ice, sparkling wine or The Secret

To serve cocktail of the day. In the evening, LA'LIV is transformed by a smart interior design

with multifunctional elements and the latest technology from the chilled day bar

Lobby to the chic restaurant. In addition, the spectacular sky bar THE VUE, which

the only one in the center of Sölden, for magical hours under the sky. 44

spacious residential units, including 21 new signature apartments, offer a lot of privacy. In

In the narrow valley of Sölden, THE SECRET trumps with the luxury of a 6,000 square meter

Plot area and many retreats.

I was assigned to capture the recent opening of the hotel bar at the Adina Hotel Stuttgart featuring delicious food, drinks, live music, dj and lots of good vibes.

The church "Verklärung Christi" is the highest located Parish church in Germany, situated at an elevation of 1245m in the Black Forest. This brutalist church was built in 1965 by architect Rainer Disse.

There are three bells in their parlors between the concrete slabs placed at right angles to each other. These are a reminiscent of Peter's proposal in the narrative of the Transfiguration of Christ: "Lord, it is good that we are here. If you want, I will build three huts here, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah" (Mt 17.4). The bells are named after the three disciples that Jesus took with them to the mountain: Peter, James and John.

Yesterday, I photographed a track bike race at an outdoor race track made of wood.

Some female athletes of the local bike scene in Stuttgart, met up to practice riding fixies at this race track. For most of them, it was the first time to ever cycle on a track or to even cycle on a fixie. Next time, I would love to try that myself.

The track itself was very old, not illuminated, outdoors, but still covered by a roof. As it was pouring all day long, the old roof yielded and started to leak from time to time. None of that was a big problem though. The biggest photographic challenge was it though, to properly focus at bikes moving at a speed of 30km/h to 50km/h, as there was not much light coming in. No sun, no light. Hence, I installed my one strobe I had to add some dramatic lighting to the otherwise boring light. It also helped to freeze the motion a bit better. Every time the athletes took a turn in that one curve, they were strobed like in a speed control. Of course, I paid attention to not strobe them right into their faces.

The building was attached to the hospital church in 2012–2014.

The hospital courtyard was built on the site of a former Dominican monastery from the late 15th century, which was used as a hospital from 1536 to 1895 after secularization and then served as a police building and prison. After the destruction in World War II, Wolf Irion (1909–1981) built the old hospital courtyard on the property in 1960, which had to be replaced by a new building in 2014.

Like almost every innovative building, the Academy of Performing Arts has a long and multifaceted history. As early as 2001, the architects KMB Kerker, Müller + Braunbeck, Ludwigsburg, the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg and the City of Ludwigsburg were commissioned to carry out the preliminary planning study for a location to build a »theater academy«. The planning architect was assisted by Prof. Martin Zehetgruber, who heads the set design training at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, and Volker Canaris, who was then head of drama training at the Stuttgart University of Music. At that time the idea of a four-sided stage tower was born, which is still the nucleus of the building's architectural concept.

The stage tower enables highly flexible open-air events. The result is a theater space that invites visitors to explore new forms of open play with the charms of its unique architecture. Since it was not possible to implement the project in 2001 for economic, financial and political reasons, the concept initially disappeared into the archives of the architects. Almost five years later, in autumn 2006, new life came into the planning and construction process of the Academy of Performing Arts, but this time with a slightly modified location and a partially changed building concept.

I recently took this picture series for the DAV climbing hall in Stuttgart, Germany.

Due to the Corona lockdown, the hall had to temporarily closed, so we used this period to take new photographs. The pictures show real sports that have been documented. Just a few times, I asked the talents to freeze or repeat their actions. Other than that, it's completely documentary and real sportsmanship.
