My apologies for having all this clutter in so small of a space... far removed from minimalism... but intentionally created for the Our Daily Challenge topic:
ANGULAR WITHIN (or) OUTSIDE
For the luv of me!
Just who thought up this topic!

Twisting Light #11
For the purists, no added colour but see large for subtle rainbow colours formed naturally and the fine structure of the caustic patterns at the centre of the hole pattern.
Another attempt at a regular pattern trying to achieve more shading to give more depth to the image.
For those not familiar with my work: These are analog images of the refraction patterns of light passing through formed and shaped transparent plastics. The patterns are exposed directly on to 35mm negative colour film and the resulting print scanned for uploading to flickr.I do not use PhotoShop, only Picasa for minor adjustments.
I made Neo from The matrix
Neo-Lego star wars outfit with a lego star wars face with a brick arms m1911 i used black sharpie for the glasses and black hair
Im Gonna make more i promise
This shot is based on the scene where Neo as part of his training has to learn several martial techniques in order to fight or defend himself against an Agent.
Via a computer program the knowledge of a certain martial arts technique is directly implanted or downloaded to Neo's brain where he later says to Morpheus: "I know kung-fu"...

This shot was taken inside the WTC Cosmo Tower, Osaka. At 256 metres it's the tallest structure in western Japan. The above area was the non-touristy part with lifts going up to the various companies that inhabit the building. I'd planned on producing a straight HDR shot, but while post processing discovered I liked the inverted look so went for something in the vein of The Matrix.
The view from the top of this place is jaw dropping. I'll post some shots shortly. If you visit I recommend going at night, you'll be treated to a spectacular 360 degree unhindered panorama. Take a small tripod too as there is a wide rail to lean on all the way around =)

Ci sono campi, campi sterminati dove gli esseri umani non nascono: vengono coltivati.
There are fields, endless fields, where humans are not born: they are cultivated.

Made for the 2013 MocOlympics over at Mocpages, where my category was to make a scene from Matrix: Reloaded.
The Moc takes place at the Chateau, where Neo fights off the Merovingian's men. While not the best movie, it has some amazing fight scenes.

I must say I kind of like this fella', sitting on my desk for the past few days.
And yes I'm already working on the big one =] But, hey, I really don't know how it'll come up, I'm not too confident about those big shiny project ^^
Comments off as no time to reciprocate but wanted to post something to keep things ticking over and say hi. I hope you are all well and I look forward to returning very soon. :-)
Don't quote me on this -- just something I'm working on, trying to map some visual frameworks to the various lenses.
For this week's Flickr Friday theme "Matrix".
Also apt for my 365 project..I have often thought as I make the bed 365 days of the year, that this would make a good photograph..so here it is!

Linda bought a new coat from Newlook. I thought it was very Trinity from the Matrix. I desperately need some pro-lighting asap!
The incredible shapes that starlings creates at sunset are reminiscent of scenes from well-known films like The Matrix.
Nobody can be told what the matrix is, you have to see it for yourself.

I took this picture from Griffith Observatory. It was later on the same day as this picture.
"....as you well know, appearances can be deceiving, which brings me back to the reason why we're here. We're not here because we're free. We're here because we're not free. There is no escaping reason; no denying purpose. Because as we both know, without purpose, we would not exist.
-It is purpose that created us.
-Purpose that connects us.
-Purpose that pulls us.
-That guides us.
-That drives us.
-It is purpose that defines us.
-Purpose that binds us. " ~ Agent Smith, The Matrix Reloaded (2003).
