This picture was taken outside a building which is called Titanic II. The impressive building was built in a tub of groundwater and looks like a ship. It’s the former location of the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT.). The Office recently moved to a new location called Black Pearl. From a sinking ship to a pirate ship! I hope they will never get seasick. :-)

We really liked the city of Bidgoszcz, known in German as "Bromberg". As in all the cities we visited, we had the impression that everything had just been renovated and spruced up. It was a pleasure to see how much effort had been put into maintaining the buildings and architecture.
