I love how math was done ON the walls. Also note that hardly any math symbols (+, x, etc) are used.
About 10 buildings were rescued (locally) from Lake County and put into one area so people can tour. A donation of $1 is asked so you can tour the area. The buildings are amazing. Some are almost 100 years old and you can walk around in them! The buildings are fully "decorated" with trinkets of the time. Definitely worth the $1.
Sign of the times that such humor couldn't be incorporated in a modern exhibit (the 'what if someone thought this was suggesting suicide at a malfunctioning calculator' factor)....they correctly figured this could stay on account of no one reading anything any more.

They are for Intermediate School students to learn basic math and science concepts through FUN activities and demonstrations. They will get to make rockets, search the stars, and test mind-boggling physics theories. Let's not forget playing math games!

My odd desire to snap artsy-fartsy pictures was evident even in my youth. Notice how beaten up the test books were. That odd thing on top is the denim-colored vinyl pouch we upper-level math students used to carry around our Texas Instruments pocket calculators. Some of us wore them on out belts.
Well, I certainly don't have anything from back when I was at school but I do have a few maths books belonging to Joshua and these great stickers that the teachers use when marking his homework.

I truly don't care for school anymore. I don't want to go in the morning. Or stay all day. I don't want to do the homework when I get home.
It seems like all school is, is a prison. Doing the same routine every day, five days a week. It's murder. All the adult's say that high school is supposed to prepare you for the real world.
Why? Why is it that you can't grow up and do what you want? Everyone predicts themselves putting on a suit and tie every day, sitting in the same cubical for eight hours and their life being hell.
Why? Why not go to hollywood and try to be an actress? Why not go to a record company and try to get your band signed? Why do you have to be stuck in the norm and be a clone of everyone else?
Personally I would rather deal with having my life be one big question. Not knowing what I was going to do that day, if anything at all. Then knowing everything was secure and going through hell until I die.
