What started out as a simple math exercise with geometric solids (NOT! -- they're hollow, and transparent!) turned into an impromptu exploration of shadow, reflection, refraction, and just plain fun.

I saw this guy furiously scribbling away in Aristotelous, you know in the way that those in the grip of a serious psychosis do, frantically noting down every little detail of their latest conspiracy theory When I looked closer he was doing trigonometry.

I spent 3 days doing what turned out to be FOUR chapters of homework. I was thinking it was 3 chapters, but then I realized the chapter test should be considered as the fourth set. Sigh.
Ok! Let’s get one thing clear, maths isn’t easy! Be it finding the hypotenuse or figuring out the value of x, maths tends to ruin many lives. But unlike how most students see and fear maths, it isn’t that great of a monster. In fact, it is the kind that you can capture and become friends with. And that friend of your will be your lifelong guide on a road to success.
Approximately 400 students and parents attended the annual Math Night held at the Villaggio Multipurpose Room Feb. 10.
PTSA and faculty offered an evening of fun and engaging activities for all grade levels from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade.
