President Barack Obama is briefed about the H1N1 flu in the Situation Room of the White House, April 24, 2009. (Official White House Photo by Pete Souza)
This official White House photograph is being made available only for publication by news organizations and/or for personal use printing by the subject(s) of the photograph. The photograph may not be manipulated in any way and may not be used in commercial or political materials, advertisements, emails, products, promotions that in any way suggests approval or endorsement of the President, the First Family, or the White House.
Another point that moderns do not grasp, is that there is no reason for necessarily seeking the cause of a phenomenon on the plane where it is produced, and that on the contrary one has to consider the possibility of a non-material cause, above all when it is a question of a phenomenon whose beginning is unknown a priori, and unknowable materially, as is the origin of living beings.
Transformist evolutionism is the classical example of the bias that invents "horizontal" causes because one does not wish to admit a "vertical" dimension: one seeks to extort from the physical plane a cause that it cannot furnish and that is necessarily situated above matter.
Even within the order of physical causes, one has to take into account the simultaneous presence of the immanent metaphysical Cause: if a seed is the immediate cause of a plant, it is because the divine archetype intervenes in the physical causality. Geometrically speaking, causes can be situated on the "concentric circles" that constitute the Universe, but other causes - and with all the more reason the First Cause - are situated at the Center and act through the radii emanating from it.
The divine Intellect contains the archetypes of creation, and it is starting from this Cause - or from this causal system - at a given cyclic "moment" of the cosmogonic process, that the "ideas" are "incarnated" which will be manifested in the form of contingent creatures.
We do not ask physicists to be content with an anthropomorphic and naive creationism; but at least it would be logical on their part - since they aim at a total and
flawless science - to try to understand the traditional ontocosmological doctrines, especially the Hindu doctrine of the envelopes (kosha) of the Self (Atma): a doctrine that, precisely, presents the Universe as a system of circles proceeding from the Center-Principle to that extreme limit which for us is matter.
For human science does not derive solely from the need to know and to register; more profoundly its origin is the thirst for the essential; now the sense of essentiality attracts us toward shores other than those of the limited plane of physical phenomena alone.

Taken at Janell Concrete & Masonry Equipment Inc. facility in the Blue Ash suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Based on the codes on the tanks, the right one contains diesel fuel while the tight one has gasoline. What I want to know is where the fire extinguisher noted by the arrow on the left is. I don't see it, do you?
You might be asking why anyone would take this shot. Well, there's the symmetry of the scene and the two protective poles are yellow aren't they? Also haven't you always wanted to know what those numbers on the hazardous material signs meant?
This was taken on our trip to Newfoundland. We were thrilled when had the opportunity to watch this awesome puffin gather up fallen feathers for nesting material. They are such great little birds and always so busy. inevitably they brought a smile to my face and it was easy to see why they earned the name "Clowns Of The Sky ".
Wishing you an awesome Day and a very blessed one too !!
Rousannou (Ρουσανου) Monastery was founded around 1545 by Maximos and Ioasaph of Ioannina. The reason for the monastery's name is not known - it is actually dedicated to St. Barbara - but may reflect the name of a hermit who occupied the rock. It soon declined and became subject to Varlaam Monastery by 1614.
The monastery once again fell into disrepair for the two centuries prior to the 1940s, when it was damaged in World War II then plundered by the Germans. It was later repaired by the regional archaeological service and since 1988 it has been occupied by a small community of 13 nuns.
Rousannou Monastery stands on a low rock and is easily accessible by a bridge built of wood in 1868 and replaced by more solid material in 1930. Despite this, its situation is still quite dramatic, with the rock dropping off sharply on all sides.
The monastery covers the entire surface of the rock and consists of three levels: the church and cells occupy the ground floor, while the two upper floors house the guest quarters, reception halls, an exhibition room, and more cells.
The frescoes in Rousannou's Church of the Transfiguration of Christ, which is essentially a smaller version of Varlaam's church, date from 1560. The narthex is decorated primarily with gruesome scenes of martyrdom, as at other Meteora monasteries.
The resident nuns tend to be friendlier to visitors than their male counterparts in Meteora and often provide sweets to guests as they relax in the courtyard.

You don’t have to go looking for pictures. The material is generous. You go out and the pictures are staring a tyou.

This image is from my most recent trip to Cuba.
This subject of this image was 90 degrees to the left of the previous image from yesterday’s upload. I did nothing more tan our to the right and switch to the camera body that had the 135mm lens on it.
So again I say-
The most wonderful images, for me. Are the ones that are of interesting plainnesses. The moment between moments on the way from somewhere to somewhere else whist neither moving or standing still. The moments that no-one actually sees as the move through there individual journeys to where ever their somewhere to somewhere else.
The power of of wielding the light saber of inertial observance, I.e. the camera allows the inertial observer, I.e. the photographer to be taken by the moment of the fleeting movement of time and freeze it. So we can always travel back to that exact spot and give ourselves the greatest give one can give- a memory.
I shot this with the 85mm f/1.2 Nikkor lens. 1/640 of a second ISO 100. Image raw processed in NX Studio and Photoshop CC with the NiK collection by DxO.

Lovely cucumber and spring onions become the focal point of this picture. Salad vegetables have been a main ingredient of my life since our practice nurse suggested I lost weight to help my health. Today was a milestone for me as after 31 month I reached my target loosing 64lbs in the period. It has been an uphill battle at time but as one incredibly famous cartoon character would say, “Never give up, never surrender.”
Thank you all that has been involved in this process and especially the NHs who set me on this path.
As for the picture it was photographed in Salisbury Square Hertford of the vegetable stall there weekly Friday & Saturday market days.
Its been a rather interesting week! It was my birthday and I got some birthday cards. Took a photo of them for the group but its still on my camera! Then on Thursday I was on my way home and someone crashed into my car....its a right-off! On the whole I'm lucky to be alive but I have ended up with some broken bones in my foot and am in hospital! I was thinking I would have to post my group photo later and then a friend brought me this mag to keep me entertained! Low and behold it is covered in words so fits the theme!!!
Week 42 words/text.

64:365 Marwell hall at Marwell Zoo. Went there on Saturday, and decided we WANT a house just like this :-) (plus Aston Martin on the drive of course)
Nothing special about the image, bit of HDR for the sky, and some noise reduction (to rid of the noise the HDR adds), but a hell of lot of cloning. There was a wedding going on, and so quite a few people gathered around that needed to be zapped out of the picture!
It has a history of the paranormal....
o Phantom footsteps have been heard walking the corridors of the 1st floor.
o Objects have been moved in front of peoples eyes in the attic area.
o One of the staff members returned to her locked room to find her belongings scattered all around
o Dark shadows and unexplained reflections in seen in another room.
o The sounds of children have been heard in a corridor
o A figure in a long black cloak seen
o Staff member regularly reported poltergeist activity in her office
